YOU can DO IT!!

I have been reading lots of pages of other Sparkers who are very flustered with the not losing the weight as fast as they would like too. OK I was in there shoes too. Yes I wanted all my weight gone like over night but lets be real here.That cant happen & you have to do it for YOU. Getting healthy & losing the weight takes time & yes COMMINTMENT too. I use to look at the scale of horrors & not see one pound gone. Yeah that really bothered me knowing that I was busting my butt & eatting all the right things, BUT I never gave up. I kept on going & well looking at my before pic's I feel that person was someone else. I cant believe I really did it on my own & all I had to do was eat healthy PLUS exercise. I started out just doing 30 minutes on my mill in the morning, then I was doing this twice a day & wow the weight was dropping off. SO I picked up the exrcise more bumped it up to 1 hour twice a day. Then I was seeing more weight gone & I just kept up. I cant stress the fact that you cant stop all your efforts cause that scale wont budge believe me it will.. It just takes time. Being on SparkPeople has really helped me in maintaining & helping others. PLEASE all I can say is never give up cause it will be gone & GIVE yourself the GIFT of LIFE.. The new you is waiting to make a big entrance & YES it will happen.. ONLY you can do it FOR YOU!! Never give up.. Cause WE ALL WANT TO LIVE!!!! Being healthy never felt so great..;-)

    It's easy to become discouraged with lack of results from the scale. It's nice to be encouraged by seeing and reading the positive results of others. Bravo for your accomplishments! Hugs, Keke

    Hmmm, I'm afraid of what I would look like running on my treadmill. I was in a Zumba class located in a dance studio. Talk about a nightmare realized. I couldn't get away from myself!

    Maybe it would have ran smoother if you had set the camera on a chair or something not moving. It was fun to watch, even though the video stopped after 90 seconds. Sounded like you had fun make the video all the same.

Living a DREAM!!!

YES at last Im living what I always dreamed of.. Losing the weight &have kept it off over 6 years now.. Im always improving myself. Im committed to me & keeping consistant in what I do.. Im healthier now then I was at a younger age. I just wish I knew what I know now about health & of course weight-loss. Who ever knew you HAD to eat to lose the weight.. HMM in my growing up days you starved yourself. You ate 500 calories a day & yeah you lost weight.BUT you lost the ever so needed muscle cause your body was living off itself & leaving the never wanted fat behind.SOO as the story went I gained weight back & then some cause who in there right mind wants to starve yourself.. I dont anymore.. I eat 1200 -1500 calories a day. I have learned to be good to myself. I have learned YES it can be done.. So once again I say Im REALLY living a DREAM.. Just wish it was sooner But hey Im loving it!!.. Never give up on YOU!! & get that body moving it keeps you young too!!..

    You are truly amazing! I've always known that you have to eat calories to lose, but I would never guess you could eat 12-1500 a day and look as phenomoninal as you do! WOW!!! Thanks for inspiring me! emoticon

I love the way my hubby & I look in this photo. YES it was taken a yr ago & we both have improved sence & I never ever want to return to what we were 'before' this photo.I was 284lbs & hubby wasnt far behind.Believe in yourself it can be done NEVER give up! Learn it like it LOVE it LIFE!!

    I liked you in blond hair. Wow! What a nice picture. As I am looking through your pictures. What made you change it to darker. I worked with my friend who is a hairdresser. She always told her ladies 40 and up. Blond is so becoming. Makes years off your age. She said dark colours are for the younger like reds, brown, ect.

Blond sure makes you look even younger. You have a nice shape there also. I know that is not your thin picture as you would call it. I understand. You have done great since this picture.

Having "Fun"

WOW I cant believe a childs toy can be so much fun.BUT also help you tone your Abs& tummy too! I discovered once again the Hula Hoop! yes Hula hoop, and Im really getting a core workout and having fun like a little kid at 48 yrs old!!Saturday, my daughter took pics of me with my hoop, well of course I had to have the picture put on my page for all to see. What was so great everyone loved it!! too funny, BUT now we have two other team mates with there hoop pics too. LOVE IT..Come on lose the weight & have fun too, thats what I like... Smile Chris

    I was just talking about getting a hula hoop for one of my kids today. I didn't really think about myself using it, but that is a neat idea!

(BTW...I saw your buddies Don Juan and Miguel this past weekend...do you think all the excercise with the whip keeps Juan in such great shape?) =)
