Still Waiting......

So still awaiting the arrival of my DVD's, hopefully should be here soon. I have been doing a workout on my elliptical and have noticed a bit of fat burning going on, LOL........I have several different workouts on my elliptical and yesterday tried the whole body one, man that was tough, it is a course with hills and you intensify each level with higher resistance,,,,,,,,,,,can you say ouch!!

Anyway checking in to keep up to date and here is to getting ripped soon!

In comes the Get Ripped series by Jari Love. I have not used any of her DVD’s before, but they look like they might just be what I need to get this show moving again. I have ordered the 4 pack of Get Ripped, Get Ripped to the Core, Get Ripped Slim & Lean and Get Ripped 1000. I have also purchased, from her site, Get Extremely Ripped and Ripped and Chiseled. One that I also have had for a while, Get Extremely Ripped 1000, but never tried……………..and I now have the rotation that was created by Jari herself and plan to begin as soon as my DVD’s arrive, which hopefully will be any time now…..I must say I am extremely excited to begin and can’t wait…….I have a feeling that this will be the one that gets me to where I want to be.

So in the meantime, I will continue to use my elliptical and any other cardio/strength training to fill in the time waiting………………………till next time, keep goin’.

Well first off, sorry everyone for not being here much the last month or so......A lot going on in my life and at work.....but everything seems to be back to normal for the most part anyway....so I am carrying on and back with a vengence more determined than ever to get to my goal before the summer. Having said that, all the stress and I am still not smoking, guess I am mind set and thats a good thing. Can't wait for the last of the snow, want to get out and do some light jogging.........Well just a short note but keep up the great work everyone......

    Yeah, it sure is easy to get caught up in life. My goodness, life seems so busy...I think we just get caught up in it. Its hard to slow down and relax.

Well after days of me hounding hubby about hooking up the new VCR, (the old one is being used elsewhere) it is finally done. Now I can tackle my ab master along with my other exercises. Can't wait,,,,,,,I love the ab master because it actually works if you use it correctly and follow the video workout. Used it and had great results before. Along with that I am focusing now on losing inches and not so much watching my weight. I figure, well if the inches and going away and watch what I eat, the weight will follow.......my proverb for the day, LOL.

New Goal Set For Me

I have a new goal to help me toward my ultimate goal....

emoticonOn 20th February my husband and I will be attending a very special banquet. This banquet is for the Shannonville Drag Racing 2009 Season and we took the championship for the Super Pro Division. This is a very special award that he will receive not only because it is the first time we have taken first place, but our dear friend and "Crew Chief", Norm passed away last August. This award means so very much to both of us, it's as if Norm got us there. So for this event I want to be in great physical condition and not to mention look great, so I have a goal of losing at least another 8 pounds.....I don't think that is too much to ask and also be down a couple of more inches on my waist at least......So I will be watching everything I eat and do like a hawk, LOL

    Sounds like a reasonable goal! I'm going to a buffet breakfast this Sunday and it's a killer good buffet. My goal is avoid gorging and only visit the buffet line twice. I'd say only once, but I'd be fooling myself. Last time I went to this breakfast, I hit the buffet table 4 times, so twice will be a big improvement!

    That is a good reachable goal. I know that you can do it. You will feel so proud of every accomplishment on that day for sure emoticonI am glad to see that you are so motivated this week. I am still doing the same. I have kept up on the exercise. So it looks like this week we are both doing great. emoticon
