I've taken some time off from sparkpeople.com I've been on nutrisystem. So far I've lost 6 pounds. I'm back sparking. AND exercising. I took time off from that too. BIG mistake.
Stress in my life has increased dramatically. I'm a stress eater, so I'm thankful I am Nutrisystem during this phase. I thought life was supposed to get easier once the children were gone?
We are starting a new month, so here are my goals this month:
EXERCISE, TRACK FOOD
EXERCISE, TRACK FOOD.
By the end of May, I WILL WEIGH 145 POUNDS......

It is the end of another month

As I reflect back on the month of March, I feel successful. I set my exercise goal at 700 minutes for the month and I surpassed it. Didn't make 1000 minutes yet but I'm improving. In my desperation to lose weight and the scale not budging, I bought myself a birthday gift of Nutrisystem. After 1 week I lost 4 pounds. And in that week I had 4 parties. Which brings me to a discovery, I attend way too many parties. I actually turned one down this past week.
The 4 pound weight loss has renewed me. I feel more positive. But I know it is just a drop in the bucket. I'm going ahead and ordering one more month of nutrisystem. I also ordered their meal measure tool kit. I'm also studying the foods in their system and portion sizes. I haven't been hungry on their program and I haven't been snacking.
So Aprils plan: 900 exercise minutes and continue with Nutrisystem. Honestly, by the end of April, I'd like to be down to 140 pounds.

I always vowed I'd never do this, but here I am. I spent a ton of money getting started with Nutrisystem. This is my do or die effort. If I don't lose weight, I'm done. No more tracking, no more obsessing. I will accept myself as an overweight, middle aged woman. For the next 28 days, I will be 100% faithful to Nutrisystem.
Today I weigh 158 pounds.

I'm meeting these goals 72% of the time.
Today I will meet my goal of 700 exercise minutes for the month!!

I'm improving, but not enough to move the scale.
