Well hubby and I have decided that the next few months we are going to be a tight budget so that we can put back a little money. So my goals are going to involve what we spoke about last night.
1. Plan out two weeks of meals in advance. I love recipezaar for this, because I have a lot of my recipes saved there. I can make a menu, then make a shopping list and go through the cabinets and see what I need and what I already have.
2. Less fat. This one does not involve money because less fat=more money on some meals. I love that my husband is now wanting to eat healthier. You see, my hubby and kids have no problem eating whatever they want and staying skinny as a rail. Does that mean healthy? No. So this is going to take some change on my kids parts but like hubby said, if they get hungry they will eventually eat it right??? LOL. I have been cooking seperate meals for myself (mainly because I work in the evenings) than I do for them (I cook their food before I head to work each day.) Now we will all eat the same thing and it will be much easier for me not to fall off the wagon.
3. This is a personal one............stop stressing out. I don't know, the last month I have felt super stressed out and this is not like me at all. I am the easy laid back one that doesn't let anything bother me. What am I stressed out about? I am not sure. Maybe it is everything getting to me at once. Not enough hours in the day, trying to do all I can to lose weight, trying to get a good grade in my class, trying to make sure I am a nice person at work. Sometimes I just sit down and cry and that isn't like me at all. Will figure this one out.
4. Get more actual water in. I drink plenty of things that count the same as water, but the good ole plain water doesn't make it into my body nearly enough. Why do I have to have flavor in EVERYTHING?
I was thinking of some other goals but my head is foggy right now and I can't think of what they are..........should have wrote them down!
