It's a beautiful day! I finished the throw I was working on. Will start on another blanket when I get off the Spark. Also knitting a beret.

Great job on the knitting I wish I knew how to knit with those needles. All I know how to do is Knifty Knit, LOL! Maybe I'll have patients enough to learn one day. Have fun with your husband and that dinner, Yummy!

Ugh!!!!

Friday, April 24, 2009

I just don't know what to say! I need to get my legs together so that I can cook again! I went to the water aerobics again today. I can exercise and walk which is wonderful. Then I have to climb out of the pool where it is not as easy to get arround! How disappointing!
My husband's idea of lunch today was White Castles. He gave me mine without a pickle. I took off the top bun and he ate them!
We got home and I worked on a throw. I hope to be finished with it tonight.
My husband went out for a while and I had to watch for the girls to get off the school bus. I thought that I could sit on the sofa with my legs up on it. I couldn't get up without help!
UPS came and I got the yarn that I ordered for the baby afghan I will make for my son's in laws. Yeah!
One of the girls wanted to open the box so I let her. She took the box back to my bedroom. I will start that afghan once I finish this project!I did have a salad and veggie pasta for dinner.
My daughter in law wasn't feeling well and needed to go to the doctor today. I couldn't wait for them to call me so I called them and she possibly has a hernia
Now my husband and I are chilling getting ready to watch Sci Fi channel while I continue to work on the throw.
The original pattern doesn't have a border however I am going to put a border on it because I think it will look better with a border.
So you see my day has been filled with ups and downs. Mostly ups as usual because God is continuing to bless this unworthy vessel!

Brianna's Birthday

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Today is the anniversary of my daughter's birthday. If she was still with us she would be 18 and getting ready to graduate from high school. I wonder what she what her life would be if she were still here. I wonder what I would be doing right now if she were still with us. I know that her father and I still love and miss her. She died at 9 months. It's funny, she gets mail and she has never lived at this address. I remember when she would have been old enough to go to school, a teacher called and said that she enjoyed meeting me when I signed her up for school. The teacher didn't believe me when I told her Brianna died and she did not meet me.
It's true that you never get over losing a child. I just have to thank God for the time I had with her.

Wednesday

Not doing very much today. I ran out of white yarn for the throw I am making and probably won't get anymore yarn until tomorrow when we are out. So since I have a stash I am working on a hat.
My legs are feeling better today so I am going to try to petal for 20 minutes.
It will be nice when the pool gets cleaned out and the weather is nice enough so that I can get into the pool at home on the days I can't get to the warm pool at the wellness center. It might be another month, but I am looking forward to it.

I love to hear how much you love doing your crafts -- so, did you see I added a post under our last section on our Team page at "Stressed Out Moms/Women Gettin' Healthy" called "CRAFTERS & SCRAPBOOKERS UNITE"? It's under our "VENTS/SUPPORT/Q & A/ MONEY SAVERS & MISC" Section! I thought of you and I know how you love to do your handwork -- so you may find another Member who enjoys the same thing and build a great friendship!!!

Blessed Day!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Hello all,
As usual on Tuesday I went to Joint Therapy class. It was raining so there were less people in the class. It seems that the teacher wanted to talk more than exercise. We were stuck on the same exercise for a long time it seems. But again maybe she wanted to make sure we got a good workout. Anyway, I was so tired when I got home I could hardly keep my eyes open! emoticon

I started working on the throw. I decided that I liked the colorway 2 better than colorway 3 so 2 will be three. Translated in the patten the person makes 4 of color way 1 and 3 while just 2 of 2 and 4 so I will make 4 of the on that I like better.
I didn't take the usual time I do on sparkpeople, but I did want to check in before I went to bed.
One more thing! A most important thing! My husband has four sisters. The youngest one Sarah had to go to the doctor today to see if she had to get her colon taken out. The good news is she doesn't have to get her colon taken out! Prayers answered. What a blessed day!
