LOVE WORKING OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

Most days are getting to the same routine, get up, eat breakfast, take care of dogs, check the garden and then start on the laptop. I have to get my Spark Points, my lessons done before I get my DGD. After I get her 5 hours of my time is gone between her mother and her. After they leave I have to get dinner and then start to do everything I have to catch up on. Sometimes I don't get dinner till 8 or 9 o'clock and I don't like eating that late.

I told DGD I wanted to pick strawberries and cut the asparagus so she let me know she wasn't going to pick the strawberries. That was fine with me but then she would not get any to take home. I got everything ready and started to pick and I weeded at the same time so it took me longer but I had the 2 jobs done. I was just starting on my 3rd basket and she said she wanted to pick and I told her to go on the other side, there where a lot of them and they are nice medium and big ones. I had a dog food bag that I was kneeling on and told her to get one out of the garage. She went down her side in no time and had 2 baskets. She was done and I continued to pick. I ended with 8 baskets between the 2 of us. She was going to pick a 3rd basket but I told her it stayed with me so she didn't pick. They would waste them and I had people that wanted some. I called my BIL's and neighbor and gave them some and I kept 2 baskets. I am going to make a pie and some jam over the weekend. I also told everyone this was a treat and if they wanted more come anytime and pick. Call first and make sure I had some and was home.

My back was done and I didn't get the asparagus cut so I will do that tomorrow. I had picked the thick ones so what is left is very thin ones and I am going to cut and only save the better ones so I can make some soup. The thin ones I can cut in 1 inch pieces and cook them, then put them in the blender and make soup. I will cook some white potatoes and blend them too. Put them together and add some bacon bits. Then when I eat it I will put some cheese on it. I try to use everything I can so I don't waste what I grow.

I have a kitchen that needs my attention big time so I am going to do that and I want to get to bed early so I can get up and outside. I have 3 days of rain coming and then I can get the garage straighten and the house. Never a day without something to do but then it would be boring.

Had to pick up DGD and I had promised the school secretary some asparagus so after I ate my breakfast I went out and cut some for her. I cut the big ones and I was going to cut the tin ones when I came home. I also had to pick strawberries and have to get them picked tomorrow or the birds will have them. I worked on the computer and also on my business and called one division because they want me to do a questionnaire but I can't log on to it with the web site they gave me. I will have to touch base with them tomorrow.

I got ready to pick up DGD and also take my new computer to the store because I could not turn it on plus I wanted to learn to use the camera as you do not get any information books with them anymore. They also don't tell you how to do it on the PC so how are you to learn. He showed me and also put a short way to get to it. Now I just have to figure out how to do it on my other PC I use all the time. I have given my first PC to my DGD and I am going to teach her how to use it.

I was just thinking school is over in 15 days and then I will save gas money. But her mom doesn't get off work till later so I will have he for full days and that is going to ready mess up my days. We went to the bank PC store, gas station and then home. When we got there her father was already there. He needed me to help him with his insurance application that is due tomorrow. 3 weeks ago he asked me but that is the way people are and he has it done now. Then my daughter cam and some how a stone hit her windshield and she has a crack on it the new car. She was upset. but I told her as long as it is not her things happen. Call the repair man and get it fixed before it gets any bigger.

They didn't leave until almost 7 and I had to fix dinner so no picking strawberries. Tomorrow I have to get the asparagus cut and the strawberries done because Saturday I want to cut grass.

I am constantly from one thing to another and still more too do. I bought several packs of flowers and plants for cucumbers, squash, egg plants, watermelon, cantaloupe and who knows what else but I have 2 plates to plant but picking comes first, second grass cutting and then the veggies and fruits planted. Then I can work on my flower beds and do them right.
I put out seeds but not too much has come up and with the new plants I will have new seeds for the next year. I don't buy plants every year even with the flowers because I save seeds.

Guess this is the end for today so I can do other things. It is going to be Friday and the last day of work so have some fun and planned your weekend. God bless you always.

VERY HECTIC DAY

Last night I tried to get to bed earlier and did get there by 1 AM but I was awake and up and down till 5:30 AM. Between then and 8 AM I fell asleep and when I go up I was beat. I got ready and took one of my 5 hour energy drinks and that does help. Got to the bowling alley and I didn't stop to pick up my friend and when I got there she was there. She is suppose to get me her telephone number but she hasn't yet so until she does I won't stop.

Got ready and started to bowl but it was the same as last night the ball would not move out of the first and second arrow. So I tried throwing a straight ball and did okay and then the 3rd game the line worked. We ended up winning 3 games and total pins not another 1 pin loss so we moved up to 8th. That is good because we have 18 or more teams. After I came home and ate lunch, took care of the dogs and stayed in because it has been on and off rain all day and night. Just let the dogs out and it is raining again. I hope it doesn't flood the front yard because I have to cut the grass or it will be as tall as the back was.

Then it was time to go to the Dr. and you talk about a hunk, woo he is so good looking and built, I can still look. I filled out the forms and then they took me in the room and the nurse took my shoes and socks off and when she saw the big toe she knew what the problem was. Then she saw the little toe not happy. When the Dr. came in he looked at all my toes and yes they are a mess. He cut all of them so easily and then filed all of them so they are thinner and the big toe only has half of a nail and he wants it kept that way. He filed it till it was completely smooth lair's of nail gone. He said it will continue to do what it does because it has been damaged so it is only doing what it thinks it should. So I have to keep it filed and short. Thank goodness I don't have to have surgery because he could have taken it completely off but didn't feel it necessary. Then he looked at the toe and knew it was broke but wanted to make sure no other bones where so took 2 x rays. The bone was broke in half but had already started to heal. He wanted to know if I hit it head on and I did so that is why it broke clean. Now I am done and don't have to go back and insurance should pay for it all.

It is a good thing I told my daughter I couldn't pick up DGD today because by the time I was done it was past the time. I came home and hunted all over this house to find my cell phone in the Van and car. My car was broke in last night while I was bowling and the phone was taken. After I realized it was gone I called the company to transfer my minutes to my other phone. I had paid for 2 years and they transferred the minutes but not the years. It took over an hour to do it and it was so hard to understand the girl because she was in an tunnel that's what it sounded like. I get really frustrated when I can't understand what they are saying and have to go over it again and again. Then when we got done it sad I didn't have service so after getting the minutes I had too buy the year contract and got 2 for my phone so I don't have to do it for a long time. It still didn't show I had service so the phone was disconnected and I had to do it again but I got a person and told her what I needed and my time is good till the 26th and then my new time will start but I wanted to make sure. I will check that door when I lock it from now on.

It was after 6:30 PM and I didn't have dinner cooked so started it and the phone ran again and it was 1 of the coaches to settle some things. So I was trying not to burn the food and talk to him and got everything settled. Finally had my dinner and it was almost 8:30 PM so I had to get my work done and I still have a lot of business work to do. I have to get to bed earlier and up by 10 AM and that still only gives me 4 hours before I have to get DGD. 5 hours out of my day during main day light time where you can get calls made. So I have been doing what I can and hope I can cut grass tomorrow.

I have been skipping the Nutrition, Fitness and Other most days because it gets to be too late to do everything.

I stopped by the bowling alley to let them know I was not going to have to be out and pre bowl plus I owed for the pictures from the Princess Tea so I was going to pay her. She would not take the money because no one paid her for them. Now she had the young man take the pictures and then did them on the computer with photo paper and no one paid. I could not believe they would do that and I was going to pay but she said if others didn't pay she wasn't going to take my money. I pay for print outs of the games when I bowl so I can go over them and see where I am messing up. If I don't have the change I will pay another day or forget to get the paper and call and they print it for me. I always pay the next time I am in. I can't believe people don't follow what they are too do and take advantage of kind people. Most of them are people that bowl there also and they know how kind the owner is.

Walking some but the toe is still in bad shape so I want it to mend right and walking will come in time. I am cutting back spending as much as I can and really it is not hard. I have enough food to eat forever just won't have my veggies and fruits but now I have them in my garden, it just won't be the same kind.

Time to close and today was crazy and very nerve wrecking, but I got things done. All have a fabulous Thursday and the sun is going to shine here some. God bless you always.

BOWLING WAS INTERESTING

Today I slept in a little longer since I was going to have a busy day and I didn't get to bed till 3 AM this morning. I straighten my bedroom some and then ate breakfast. After breakfast I went out to see if the asparagus where growing after I cut everything down and they are. I will cut them tomorrow after the Dr. visit and give them to the secretary at DGD's school.

When I came in I started to work on the Spark point page because it was the only time I could. I managed to take some coaching calls and get a lot of the point page done. I have been trying to scan a contract paper in ADOBE but when I try to get it to my email I get ADOBE information. The coach called and they sent me an electronic one to sign so put the real one in the mail.

I went picked up DGD and then helped her with her homework and gave her a snack. She went out to play so I fed the dogs and then I made dinner because I had to leave shortly after she was picked up. Her mom came and I finished getting ready because she was on the phone. They left and I had a little time left to finish most of my points then I left.

We where to have the meeting because it was our first night and all the forms to be filled out. There are only 2 full teams and part of 1. So we bowled and hope some more people join. We ended up taking 2 lost the total pins by 1 and that is what happen on Wednesday last week. I ended up with a 132 average and that was good with way I was bowling. Talked to one of the guys that works the counter and we agreed that the lanes need help. I bowled my curved ball and also my straight bowl whatever worked at the moment. Hope the lanes are good tomorrow morning. Take what I can get.

I am a little better today but still have to get things worked out. Time will tell and I can wait.
My broken toe made it too the 3rd game and then started to hurt. Tomorrow should be fun.

Going to close because this is a pain to type. I start on one line and end on another.

I like asparagus, but i never eat it because of the side effects! Sorry to read about your broken toe. I had my big toe broken when I had a bunion removed. They put a screw in it so it doesn't bend, at all. This morning I dropped a glass lid, of course it was on that toe! For a moment I thot I might pass out from the pain. Today is just a day and so much going on in my head I don't know which way to turn. Need to get so much done and things straighten out. Some things need to be said and there are going to be hurt feeling but that is the way it has to be. Their choice not mine because I have told them before. So not too much into it tonight and have lessons to do.
