Nike walk #7,8 & 9.

Maybe should number these or put dates? Any suggestions?
Saturday I took two short walks 1.76 of them out the other .83 of a mile.
Today I walked 1.36 miles. When I got done it congratulated me for walking three days in a row. How cool is that!
Then it reminded me to make sure I stretched after each run.

Found more cool stuff I can choose from a basic run, distance run, time run or speed run.

I looked around the speed run . It said select a speed record from: have three records listed a fastest 1K ,fastest mile and a fastest 5K.
I thought that was cool too.

The only thing that happened today was I was walking around the neighborhood and I tripped on bump on the sidewalk and I fell. really did a number on my hand ,scraped my knees and my chin.
Most time I've been trying to walk on the side streets that are busy so I could walk in the street because they're smoother. I need to really pay attention to where I'm walking more or go somewhere where I know it's new and level.
I have enjoyed walking around my neighborhood seeing all the lawns up close and saying hello to the neighbors.

I am going to write Nike and tell them how much I like their app- and it is free on top of that.

Several weeks ago- I turn it on and it asked something to the extent of: "want to beat your longest run?' ( I mostly walk though)

Early this week it congratulated me on my personal best so far!
Today it congratulated me on getting more minutes in this week than last week. Then a voice came on and said " Hi! I am XXXXXXX and I would even let you hold my Heisman trophy for a minute."
This stuff Just makes it fun! And pushes you at the same time.
Today I had to walk over to the wellness center at work. I did .76 mile in 15 minuets. If I would have kept going it would have been my best time for a mile yet. 20 minutes and seconds. And I didn't even sweat. (really couldn't do that because I was in my work clothes and I had to go back to work after).
Now- I want to do a mile and see how fast I can actually do it in. That is on my to-do list for this week.

Yesterday and today were just beautiful! Makes the walking outside even better!

Personal Best- Nike run

I wasn't in the mood but I did it anyways and I'm so glad I did.
I walk decided to try to do my 5K race. Put on my ankle and wrist weights and off I went.
On top of that I tried a different route which had a lot more hills.
So I get a little more than A 5K and when I hit end run I got a note that said " congratulations you just made it personal best".

In addition to that I just walked the whole way. I didn't do any jogging because last time I went to my chiropractor he said no jogging because my ankle was out of sorts.

I am satisfied and proud of myself! emoticon

I was so excited to find that you can change the time for spark people. I used to get frustrated because I would want to post a blog or get points but it was after midnight and so it would be counted for the next day.
This is great for night owls. You can have your day end later than midnight. so for those whose day doesn't end until they go to bed you can have it set for then. That way everything you do for that day of yours is not the actual calendar day.
This is so cool.

You can also reset your points awarded for reading articles. which is so great because if you have been on Spark for a while you have probably read many of the articles. The great thing about these articles many are worth reading more than once! You get to keep all your spark points but reset all the articles back to ZERO and then get credit again for rereading them.

These are awesome features!

Just didn't feel like doing much of anything today. I made it to work and to go to school and print off some stuff for class.
Tomorrow is another day full of promise and opportunity.
