I've been super discouraged and disappointed with myself. I haven't worked out in over a week for various reasons/excuses. I had told myself I was gunna go to the gym today no matter what. This morning though, I started having pain from my ovarian cysts. They hurt me from time to time but today I'm hurting almost as bad as I did when I first found out I had them. It's getting worse as the day goes on. I hope by tonight I'll be able to move around and use the bathroom without hurting. I wish I had something stronger than Aleve and BC emoticon

    Don't stress. Just take it eay and don't give yourself guilt about your body rebelling. Sometimes a rest is useful too. Just relax and look forward to a better day tomorrow. :)

    I hope you heal soon! I can relate with reasons/excuses, I had muscle pain two weeks ago and didn't do any workout later even though I was okay. I did make myself do it today though, and I feel so much better... Practice self-compassion and take it easy until you get better, sending good thoughts your way...

  Awww you poor thing!! Just take it easy and when you feel better keep that promise to yourself!! Everyone has set backs and reasons to be upset with ourselves but don't be too hard on yourself! You want to motivate, not depress. Just drink plenty of water and work out when you are able!! emoticon emoticon

Thinogenics: not for me!

So I'd been hearing awesome stuff about thinogenics. My cousin lost 40 pounds from taking it. My stepmom had bought a bottle of it , took it one day, but didn't like how it made her feel. So she let me have it since I was curious about it. I took it first thing in the morning everyday last week. It gave me tons of energy and I drank water like crazy! It made it difficult to fall asleep at night and when I could get to sleep I didn't rest well. After three days of taking it, I started to feel so depressed. I wasn't sure if it was the lack of nicotine or if I was starting to have trouble with my depression again. I've had my depression and anxiety under control for about two years, so I was getting really concerned. Anyway, I decided to stop taking the thinogenics to see if that wasn't mixing with my meds well or what was going on. After two days of being off of it, I feel MUCH better. I guess they're just not for me. Hey I lost a good bit of weight just dieting and excersing so I'll just keep that up and forget diet pills.

    Losing with diet and exercise is a better way to go. I am always concerned about any side effects or interactions with medications. Glad to hear that you are feeling better since stopping taking it.

    This is one of the reason I try to stay away from diet pills. I'm never sure how they will make me feel. I would rather proudly say I did it on my own than with the help of a pill. It works for some but not for me. Good luck!

Shedding the pounds!

I've lost 15 pounds in a month and I feel fantastic! I stay within my calorie range and workout 30-45 minutes most days and at least 15 on "off" days. I was working out every other day but since I've lost some pounds and have more energy I've found that the daily routine really keeps me positive. Today is my first day without cigarettes so I'm a little tense but I can't wait for 5:00 so I can jump into my gym clothes and sweat it away with a 45 minute workout. emoticon I've been doing 60-30s...walking 60 seconds and then sprinting 30. I got to where I could sprint for 60 seconds or more and then walk for 60 seconds. So last night I just jogged and made it through a mile without my side killing me. It started hurting toward the end but I pushed through it! It felt so amazing! I'm definitely proud of myself and haven't felt like this in years! Spark People has changed my life!!! emoticon
