4/3/2012: Day 38

Yesterday was a very crazy day at work. We were down a couple critical people and this time of year is one of the busiest. The day flew by because I was very busy all day. Now I have just three days until my four day weekend. Yay! WooHoo! I did get in some exercise but not as much as I would have liked. I walked before and after work. I ended up only doing a ten minute walk during lunch. It was such a beautiful day and I did get to enjoy it a little.

I followed my calories for the day. When I got home I was pretty tired. I got my things ready for today and had a very yummy dinner. I watched WWE wrestling and had an enjoyable evening. I went to bed and slept very well. I actually did not want to get out of bed. That's not typically the case for me.

Today should be busy at work but not as busy as yesterday. I'm walking thirty minutes before work. I'm walking during lunch and thirty minutes after work. I'm also doing a cardio workout when I get home. It will likely be a twenty minute one. I'm looking forward to the weekend. I can't wait.

4/2/2012: Day 37

Monday, April 02, 2012

This weekend I stayed in bed and rested. It has paid off because I feel much stronger. I didn't work out at all. I didn't mind that at all. I needed the rest. I didn't follow my calorie count like I should have but I'm okay with that.

I'm got my clothes ready for work last night. I got my meals ready for today. I've got an exercise plan for today. I'm doing a 40 minute walk before work, a 60 minute walk during lunch, a 30 minute walk on my way home, and a 35 minute kickboxing workout once I get home.

Today will likely be a very crazy day at work. I'll do what I need to do so I can be done faster. I'm going to have a bad hair week since I didn't get my hair done this weekend. I'll just have to deal with it. I have Friday and next Monday off and I can't wait. I'm counting down until Thursday at 5PM. I'm going to do my best to make today a good day.

3/30/2012: Day 34

Friday, March 30, 2012

Yesterday was not the best day for me. I went back to work and I was not feeling my best. I had a lot of work to do and I had a runny nose all day long. I did walk in the morning before work and after work but I didn't have the energy to walk during lunch. I typically do a three mile walk during my hour long lunch. I find it to be relaxing. Instead I went to DSW with a co-worker as she looked for some new shoes. I didn't buy a thing.

I managed to make it through the day and get home safely. I feel so much more encouraged now. I'm starting to feel better. I'm not as cranky as I was yesterday. I don't have a lot of energy today. I didn't sleep very well last night. I feel like I could use a nap and that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Today is Friday and I hope the day goes quickly. I'm ready for it to be over as quickly as possible. I want my weekend to start now. I'm getting my hair done on Saturday and seeing one of my friends. On Sunday I'm going to see the movie "Mirror Mirror" with my mom and sister. The rest of the time I'll be resting and taking it easy. I can't wait until it's 5PM today! WooHoo!

3/29/2012: Day 33

I spent yesterday in bed mostly. I needed another day off work. I took all my meds and I even took a nap. I started to feel a little better in the afternoon. I got my clothes ready for work. I already had my meals ready. I'm still very congested and I figure it will take some time before I'm back to my old self.

I got up this morning feel stronger. I'm ready to go back to work. I'm also ready to start my walking again. The weather today will be around 50 degrees outside so I will be walking before work, during lunch, and after work. I'm going to listen to my body and take it easy when I need to do so. I am still taking antibiotics for the sinus infection for another week.

Today will be busy at work as I have to catch up on emails from the last two days. I hope the day flies by for me. I'm feeling encouraged and positive. I'll be keeping to myself at work because I need to focus on getting things done at work. I'll do my best to make today a good day at work.

3/28/2012: Day 32

Yesterday was a day of rest for me. I was home sick. I am struggling with the sinus infection. I spent the whole day in bed with sinus headaches taking medications.

I'm taking today off as well. I'm focusing on getting better right now. I'm feeling encouraged and I'm sure I'll be feeling a lot better soon.
