Things with the music academy are still up in the air, but I am feeling accomplished in that regard, which is helping me regain my focus with my eating and exercising. It feels good to be back on track.
My team's weigh-in is this Friday and I think I can do very well. Don't want to let my teammates down! Just got off the elliptical. Having to work my time back up again, but at least I'm doing it.
It has been difficult getting all of my water in. Today I will get 8-10 glasses down. No excuses.

No beach, no parties, no relaxation, that's for sure. I am knee-deep this Spring Break in work for the new music academy I'll open in the fall.
It's exciting, but very stressful. We have gotten close with one property but it fell through at the end of the process. Then a second place was grabbed out from under my feet. But fortuantely we have found a much better location than either of the first two, and so far so good!!! It has been difficult not getting discouraged, but there's just no time for that.
Hopefully by this time next week I'll be able to report back here that I have my location, and then I can finally make contact with all of the talented teachers I've met and give them more information.
I haven't been eating much, but what I have eaten hasn't been very healthy (except today, very healthy day.) I will still report in at my team, as I feel it is important to be accountable.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! I did, being with family and friends all weekend. But I have to say I did overeat, and several times. Naturally this moring I am up a few pounds. I have my team's weigh-in this Friday, so my goal is to lose what I gained over the weekend. Basically get back to the weight I was at last weigh-in.
Hopefully a lot of it is water retention! (For once I am hoping for water weight!)

I am down another pound. Yippee! My official weigh-in is this Friday, so I hope to be down a bit more by then.
I did fall off the wagon some this past weekend. A high calorie dinner on Friday, some extra snacking on Saturday, and a high calorie breakfast on Saturday. It was a big weekend for me, with 60 of my piano students playing for evaluation by judges. They did extremely well (wth 56 of them scoring the highest rating possible), but on those high-pressure days I often give in and don't stay on point with my eating.
So I am going to work extra hard this week counting calories and exercising. I was very good last week, and didn't see a loss, so I am hoping it will catch up to me, and with diligence this week, I'll see another drop by Friday.

Amazingly enough, I think living the healthier lifestyle is getting easier for me.
This morning, I fixed a very healthy breakfast without having to give it much thought. Lunch was equally as easy. I have learned som great recipes that I know I can rely on now.
I'm going now to get my elliptical workout in, then shower and be ready for my 2nd set of lessons for the day. It's all about making it a part of the daily schedule and just doing it!
It's a big relief that planning meals and fitting in the exercise isn't as difficult as it once was. Even though I am doing More....extra time grocery shopping, planning meals ahead, logging all of my food and exercise...My life actually feels more organized! Perhaps all of the oxygen to the brain I get during exercise is helping? I feel much more clear-headed, focused, and driven. I love it!
