No snow day for me

Well the storm did blow through overnight but by this morning things were calming down and moving slowly. The schools in the Western District had a full system shut down. So my son had the day off and I decided to go to work. I was late half an hour so needless to say it was a busy day for me in the' Fresh To Go' section and bakery section I also manage. Shelves were empty, so I was kept hopping which meant one thing"NO LUNCH BREAK', not good. Hey I work with fresh fruit and veggies, so I did manage some samples throughout the day so I didn't come home hungry and want to eat everything I saw while getting supper ready. First thing I did was grab my water bottle and started filling up on that. So a lite supper and off to Zumba( if classes are on). Every one have a great evening.

Stormy weather

Ok, so it's Wednesday evening and the weather forecast is calling for a major snowstorm to roll throught overnight and into tomorrow. Now anytime these events happen and we have a snow day, we think munchies and movies. Well everybody else can have that. I have a supply of fresh fruit and veggies in the fridge to fill up on.
On the evening of my first weight in and losing 4lbs, my son tried to tempt me with a dish of ice cream after supper. I surprised him when I said sure but only a spoonful and a spoonful it was. I'm so proud of myself for that. emoticon emoticon

    Good job with the "munchables". We had a lot of snow here this morning but the cars are getting around and the shopping malls are open!

    Good for you, Charlene. If you keep the good stuff handy, that's what you'll reach for. And that was a good lesson for your son too. He'll start thinking "healthy first" before too long.

The scales say,but

Well after being on the program a week and weighting myself, the scales say I've lost 4lbs. but my jeans still feel a little snug. I guess the first week's lost would mostly be water weight. Hope I see results of some sort in the next couple of weeks as to the fit of my clothes.
I'm following the program as set out and doing the fitness part. Does everyone have this problem at first or is it just me.

    Most of the weight that you lose at the very start is water weight. After a couple of weeks you will start to see the "real" weight loss happen. Baby steps, that's how it's done. Good luck and:
