#6 - I Can Do It.

Thursday, July 07, 2011

So I had a bump in the road last night. Yesterday was not a spectacular day. I ate well up until dinner. I did not want to eat bad, but I had this craving for some Mexican food, and well, it is a weakness. I had about 647-997 calories until I was over my limit, but I am not sure about what I ate for dinner. To top it off, I didn't do my day two of the challenge. I felt pretty bad about it last night.

That was yesterday.

Today is a new day, a new beginning.

This morning, I did day two and day three of the challenge before work. I packed a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack. Tonight, I know what I am having for dinner; it has already been laid out. I also plan to do 20-30 minutes of walking once I get home from work. This healthy lifestyle is starting to feel good. Sure, I will have stumbles, but I have a good feeling that I will be more successful this time around.

# 5 - I'm Feeling Good About Today!

Tuesday, July 05, 2011

Today's Accomplishments:

1. I joined a challenge.
2. I came home from work, and I completed my first day of that challenge! :)
3. I was under 1,200 calories for my intake.
4. I resisted temptation for bad food... TWICE!

These accomplishments make me extremely happy to try it again tomorrow! I am going to lose this weight no matter what!

#4 - I Joined a Challenge!

Tuesday, July 05, 2011

I have been having some difficulty getting started with my program (although I lost three pounds, already!), so I decided to check out some of the challenges here on SparkPeople. I came across the "Official 28-day Bootcamp Workout Challenge", and I watched all of the videos. After reviewing those, I decided that it's only ten minutes a day which I am going to try to do before work every morning. So I joined! I'm starting today as soon as I get home! I'm also thinking about starting to walk my 4-mile route again. So maybe the challenge in the morning and the walk when I get home after work. We'll see. I don't want to get too instense and then fail on the challenge. My most important goal this month is that challenge! :)

#2 - Motivation

Thursday, June 30, 2011

It's so easy talking about losing weight and getting excited about the end result; however, it is difficult getting started. I came into this week with the best intentions of getting a jump on losing weight and eating healthy. I fallen into food temptations. I've come home and decided not to exercise because I was too tired. I have to be strong, and I have to really try.

I was too big to fit into my pants this morning. I look at myself in the mirror, and all I see is fat spilling over the tops of my pants. I look gross. I really need this change, but I have to be committed. No more yo-yoing. For some motivation this morning, I am going to list the things that I hate (but can change) about my body:

1. I can't fit into any of my jeans or jean shorts.
2. I look fat in everything I own.
3. My stomach bulges out of my shirts making it even worse.
4. I hate how I look in a mirror.
5. I hate how I look in pictures.

I know this sounds negative, but I'm hoping that by pointing these out, I can turn them into a postive thing.
