This healthy eating is getting easier by the meal

I can not believe how much better I feel since I starting eating right and exercising. I can climb the stairs !!!! I fit in my jeans. People are noticing my healthy eating habits and are starting to pay a little more attention to what and how much they are eating. I feel good!! I am excited and looking forward to my next weigh in on sunday.

It has not been a good week for me. I can not control my night time eating. I try to stay out of the kitchen but even after I am in bed I head downstairs for a small snack which turns into a binge. I need to stay focused and positive. One meal at a tome. emoticon

    Hi, CEPEARL!!! I like your honesty, girl! That night-time eating thing is a hurdle for me too....and there are many nights when I trip over that hurdle....bigtime!! What to do? What to do?? OK...I like BEHMOM's suggestion of the carrots...so you can't beat the nighttime eating every night...but you can make better choices when you do give in. Is it better to plan for a before bed healthy yet filling snack to help fight off the giving in after turning in binge...at least at first?? Maybe so. That approach has really helped me. You actually CAN control your night time eating...you just haven't THIS WEEK. You will do it...you just won't do it every single time....more moments of victory over time than defeat. Celebrate those victories. I celebrate your posting here today and causing me to reflect on MY strategy. emoticon

  Have you tried changing what food you have at home so that the most appealing thing to snack on is carrots?
