Well, the good news is I've lost some pounds, bad news is my body fat % is up. Darn it.
Yesterday, I drug 5 yo on a easy hike. I figure if I keep him going on hiking, he'll like it eventually, plus he will build up his stamina as well. He whined about the idea but when we got there was all gungho. No complaining! Yay! We are going to start geocaching too so that should get him even more excited about it. DH is away on alot of fishing tournaments so trying to find alternate ways of finding exercise but not killing my 5 yo in the process. :)
This weekend we are doing a work/play weekend at our church camp. It is in the mountains and there are cabins there. We will be working to help get the camp ready for summer activities (cleaning cabins, fixing up boats, clearing walkways) and the play is hiking, rock climbing, etc. Can't wait. Hubby will be fishing again so we'll be doing our own adventure rather than sitting at home.
Need to work on eating. I'm bored with my recipes/recipe books so have been falling back on eating out alot. Need to knock that off. Not healthy physically or budgetwise. Need to work out more too. Have been skipping it and working straight through. Has affected me mentally alot so I've been more grouchy. Need a change of scenery during the day. Got to get back to my Just Do It mentality.
