Super cold week. Hubby and son were out of school for the past 2 days due to the weather. I only got 1 snow day. Grumble. haha Oh well. Got my work out on at least.
Made it to the body blitz class yesterday. OMG. I was sucking wind big time. My glutes are a little sore today. And my upper back from all the weight lifting and pushups. The hopping mountain climbers kill me. She added hops to the sides too. Ouch. After awhile I couldn't due the rolling situps to a step up exercise anymore so I just laid on the ground and did an ab work instead. BRUTAL. But I did it! Yeah!
Stayed within my calories but my carbs have gotten a bit out of control lately. Fiber is finally where it should be. Added an Active bar to my meal plan. One a day helps me meet my fiber minimum. I'm having problems getting enough protein though. And now my iron levels are too high. Can't win. If I don't take the One a Day, then my iron is too low but if I do then it is too high. DOH. Gotta find the balance I guess.
Got my organic veggie delivery at work yesterday. Mixed Greens, apples, oranges, baby potatoes, rainbow carrots (yes they are red, orange, yellow, purple colored), and kale.
I looked at the kale and thought what the heck do I make with this? I looked it up online and low and behold...Kale Chips! haha I should make them and bring them to the Superbowl party at my sister's house. LOL
