I'm on track for exercising and noticing some toning going on, but my weight is up this week. *sigh* Teach me to get groceries in advance and not rely on my husband. We also had a dinner party this week and I splurged a bit. Weekend is coming with a few parties so will have to watch that as well.

My goal for the week coming up is to actually track my food and of course keep up the exercising. I also want to get my water up to 8 glasses a day instead of 4. Also get all veggies and fruits in. I've been doing well with the fruit, but veggies not so much.

Yesterday, I was still thrown off but finally snapped out of the fog last night. I met my food goals and fitness goals yesterday but it was a struggle.

Today I feel much better. My mind is clear, I'm sticking to my food and exercise plan. Not tired like yesterday. I did really well in power yoga today. Felt more balanced.

I am getting nervous about the weekend though. I'll have to come up with a plan and try and stick with it.

Yesterday was out of control. I worked past my usual lunch hour and went and worked out at 1p instead of noon. Then it dawned on me I had a meeting at 2p I was late to, so I went straight to that meeting without eating lunch. When I got back I didn't have time to go get lunch so I munched on grapes instead. (Yesterday was the day my fresh fruits and veggies gets delivered to my workplace so at least I had something!)

When I got home, didn't have time to make dinner as I was going to Film on the Rocks. I knew I could eat something there. I got a chicken burrito and a water. I downed another water later with half a bag of m&ms. I need to work on keeping track of time.

This morning I'm dragging big time. Went to Jamba Juice to get my fav oatmeal and back on track hopefully. Have another meeting this morning but it is in the morning so should be ok. DH is going fishing so I have to figure out dinner. He didn't get all my groceries I needed so a couple items are missing from my recipe. DOH. Ck salad sandwiches tonight!

    Stay focused , I have the same problem some days , just way to busy to think about eating and then watching what i eat( when I remember) , luckily you had the veggies !!! Good luck today , my reminder now is I set my phone alarm every 4 hours now to remind me it's food time it really has helped !!

Challenge for the Month

My challenge for this month for myself is to exercise at least 5 days a week and record my minutes on the Spark America page for my city. I set my home page to the Spark America page so I won't forget.

Last night I got 8 hours sleep. I still feel tired but considering the last 5 days I've stayed up til midnight or beyond, I have some catching up to do.

Didn't make it to the grocery store but I did make a list and am sending dh to the store today since he is not working.

"I gotta feelin'. Today's going to be a good, good dayyyyyy!"

Tough Day #2

Well, last week I did awesome with food and working out. Then came the weekend downward spiral. DOH. Weekends are my worst. I also got into a really good book this weekend so I stayed up way too late every night reading the darn thing. It caught up with me today at my workout class. I usually have a banana about an hour before I go but I need to go grocery shopping so I had a plum instead. It didn't fill me up. So I was dragging bad through the class. Of course eating out last night and having 2 desserts (yes I was bad) didn't help. I haven't been to Country Buffet in a long time. Now I know why. :0

Goals for today:
Workout-check

eat healthy-Since we are out of groceries, I ate out at Garbanzos but I got the kids meal (1/2 pita no rice) with apples instead of chips. For dinner will be a Cooking Light recipe chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and avocado. Perhaps a side of beets I cooked up over the weekend.

Goals for the week:
Eat Healthy.
Get on target with my weekend eating!
Get to bed on time!

    Sounds like you got right back to it! I try to avoid buffet's for the same reason! Too many temptations....

  Don't be too hard on yourself. Life is about living and you SHOULD eat healthy but you should also enjoy a treat once in a while. As long as it doesn't become a habit, enjoy your treats.
