I'm back. I've been so bad lately about tracking food. I've been working for the past week on getting some sort of exercise in. Sunday I went on a 6 mile hike with my dog Molly. She was toast by the time we got back to the car. She could barely jump into the back of my car. For the past 3 days she's barely made it up and down the stairs due to soreness. Oops. She'll be 8 this year. I keep forgetting she's not the pup she was. Of course, I don't exercise her as much as I should so she's gotten a little tubby as well. Today she was alot perkier than usual so she must have recovered. I was even feeling it a little after that hike. The hike wasn't that technical so it was odd that I felt anything. Oh well.
I got food poisoning on Sunday after the hike. I went to Subway and got the Spicy Italian 6" sandwich and immediately started feeling bad an hour later. I was sick for the next 24 hours. So no exercise on Monday. Tuesday, I eased myself back into things by doing my yoga class. We focused alot on hips and legs which is where I was sore from the hike. I feel all nice and stretched out now. Today is the elliptical trainer.
Dh is sick today, he is convinced I didn't have food poisoning that it was an actual illness. Maybe.
Jake is finally transitioning well into his new classroom. He refused to step foot each day for the past week and a half into his new classroom but today, he went in and started playing no problem. Woo-hoo!
