I really love my bodybugg. It shows me when I am most active and even when I think I have not been active, I look at the graph and see how wrong I was. You don't have to bust your butt in the gym for 8 hours a day, just moving around and not sitting around does the trick. I work for a call center where I sit on my butt for 8 hours talking on the phone. There isn't much I can do about that, but I can get up in my cubicle and move around a little bit. I am going to have to try it. Maybe do some squats or something. But here is a screen print of my day today. I also went to the gym which you will notice at the end with the high spikes.
I tried to make the picture bigger but SP wouldn't let me. But as you can see, I burned 3400 calories today which is awesome.

So my son woke me up early this morning and I was thinking about everything I needed to do and weighing in did not make my list, so I missed my chance. I am pretty sure it is a good thing because I only did well 3 days this week. The others were absolutely horrible so I wouldn't be surprised if I showed a large weight gain. I have a week before my trainer gets back so I am going to kick some ass this week and try to at least balance out by next Monday. No gain. Loss preferably but even if I just remain the same, I will be happy.

In 25 weeks, I have lost 50lbs! That is so funny because while I did not lose an even 2 lbs each week, on average apparently I did. Some weeks I lost 3-4 lbs, others I lost only 1 lb and I even had a gain somewhere in there. But it averaged out to 2 lbs a week.
I don't have a whole lot to say in this blog, but for anyone concerned with a small loss at any given time, just focus on the long term. It will likely average out. I started out at 318.6lbs 25 weeks ago and now I am at 265.4lbs. I still have a long way to go, but as long as I keep pushing, I will get there.
Now let's see if I can still make my goal of 260 by New Years. I have 5.4lbs to lose in 2 weeks. I think I can! I think I can!
Oh yeah, and I also purchased the BodyBugg. I will discuss more on it later with screen shots of my progress, but right now I don't have time.
As for the competition, I have not received any weights from my friends so I don't know where they are, but I am at 2.78% lost since the beginning of the competition. I lost 3.6lbs this week bringing my total weight loss to 53.2 lbs.

I wasn't going to weigh in today. I want to wean myself off the scale by cutting down to every other week, but I stood in the bathroom arguing with myself this morning and decided to weigh after all. I think I am going to continue weighing in every week since I decided to participate in the second weight loss competition and because I just like knowing how good I am doing. It is easier to see what works and what doesn't when you can see the weight loss for each week. Ok, at least that is going to be part of my excuse to weigh in.
Well I got on the scale this morning and found I weigh 270.4lbs. I wish I could have lost that extra 0.6lbs so I could be under 270 but that's ok. I have 4 more weeks to lose 10.4 lbs in order to meet my goal of being at 260 by New Years. I need to lose pretty much the same amount of weight for the next 4 weeks to meet my goal. My PT knows my goal so he is going to push me to help me reach it. If I can end the year under 260, I will be ecstatic. But 260 is my reasonable, attainable goal. 259 is my next weight loss reward weight, that would be awesome to reach too!
Some good news! I have surpassed the amount of time I spent on SP the first time around. The first time around, I only managed to make it to week 22 before "falling off the wagon." I am now in new territory with nothing to compare myself to. I am happy about that. It feels like I made a break through of some sort. Now I am heading into the unknown. I was a little disappointed to see that by week 22 the first time, I was at 49.8lbs lost where at week 22 this time around, I was only at 45.6lbs down. But I am actually ok with it when I think in terms of the long run. Last time, I didn't really change my eating habits, I just cut down on the portions. This time I am trying to increase my veggie and fruit intake as well as lower my carbs and fat and increase my protein in order to have more balanced meals. It's a slow process, but slow and steady wins the race.
I totally blew November, but I am determined to make December much better. I am still quite heavy and should be losing more then 10 lbs a month. So having only lost 4.4 lbs in the month of November is inexcusable. Time to get back on the ball. In 7 months, I will be going on a cruise to Mexico and want to be comfortable enough with myself to wear a bathing suit to the pool. I want to be comfortable enough with myself to just have fun and be carefree without thinking people are looking at me and judging. I need to put up reminders. I am going to look for travel brochures and pictures of cruises and put them up on my bedroom wall as a constant reminder. Maybe that will help me make the most out of the next 7 months.
As for my competition, since we had originally chosen to weigh in only every other week (well I did, I didn't know they were going to follow), I don't have their percentages. I will have them next week.
