I am not a fan of DST... my body goes more by sun-time than "government trying to confuse us" time.
Thus, I did not sleep well. DH took up the slack and wrangled and rotated Corgis this morning so I could sleep later. Sweet man!
We finally got to running errands about noon. After we did that, I came home and put on my gardening clothes, and hit the natural area to de-weed and pull ivy. An hour later, I had it looking pretty good, and ready for pine needles on Saturday. I also used muscles I haven't used in awhile... OUCH!
I overdid it on the treadmill yesterday(and the Wii), so I was slow this morning anyway from that. But I used the Wii for 15 minutes this morning, once I got moving. I figured the gardening was enough for the day's exercise. I took a shower and decided to chill. The longer I sat, the stiffer I got. In my brilliance, I thought if I walked on the treadmill it would limber me up again. It DID get my blood warmed, but now I feel as if I have been hit by a truck! I took my evening meds. The pain pill should kick in about 10 minutes from now. In order to sleep better, I believe I will do a few stretches before I actually get into the bed.
It is going to be an interesting morning ahead... There isn't a muscle I have not moved today.
I ate well today. I accomplished a lot around the house, and my natural area is lovely and clean looking. I drank more than my usual water for the day. All is prepped and ready for my leaving for work. Lunch is packed.
Here's hoping I can move in the AM!

Thanks be to God! This was a nice weekend.
My BFF brought me a treadmill, and I have enjoyed using it! I used my Wii each day. My weight is a solid 196.0. I have eaten well, even with eating out at Fatz Cafe! Portions and drinking water make a huge difference.
Changing the clocks yesterday afternoon made a difference, too. I was up to go to 8 am Mass without feeling tired, or missing the hour we lost.
I spent today chilling... read some, ate when I was hungry, and exercised. I did not need a nap.
My body hurts from the fibro, and the weather change has my joints "out of sorts". Circumstances that can be dealt with. Overall, good.
I had my solitary trip to Wally World after Mass. Very nice. Relaxing. Definitely adding this to my list of things to continue after Lent.
The week ahead looks to be busy, but well planned at this point.
I am ready to face whatever comes, and be thankful. The is no situation that I cannot handle if I will turn to God first.
This IS going to be a SPARKling week!

Spent most of today at the hospital... My BFF(since we were in kindergarten) is an only child, as am I. Her Mother and Aunt are the only family she has left, and they are like my family. Aunt Margaret fell yesterday afternoon, and lay on her floor for 5 hours, until Pat found her. EMT's came and got her to ER around 6:30pm. They finally got her in a room at 2am this morning. After all the tests, it is determined she has a displaced communitated fracture of her hip... requiring surgery tomorrow. She is 86, and in pretty good health. This will keep her out of commission for about 6 weeks. Pat's Mom is going to be 93 this year. She, too, lives on her own. Her condo is across the hall from Aunt Margaret's. She can be a "pain", so we are jockey-ing things around to keep her entertained so we can get Auntie M settled. My job will be "Mother" sitting tomorrow. LOL!
I have eaten pretty much as planned. Luckily the hospital has good choices in the cafeteria!
I am truly too tired to exercise this evening. I am going to go with the flow for the next few days and make as wise a choice as I can, as they are presented to me. It is all going to be OK.
All things work to the good of those who love the Lord...
