Not only can I say it...I can act it out! LOL!! I'm going to start out with a list of excuses. None are valid, but that matters not! I'm doing it anyway.
Really long, boring day at work. Tired of being bored and asking the boss and having him not rearrange some of the work...especially since the new guy is buried!
Hungry all day. Don't know why, just was. Ate all of my healthy snacks that I took and did not go to the vending machine.
Gave blood. 'Nuff said! LOL!
Kids didn't do their chores...again. Made me cranky! Okay...crankier! LOL!
Anyway, after dinner, DH said that he would buy if I would fly...ice cream. Okay! said I (after about a millisecond hesitation, if that). Of course, I didn't want ice cream. Mostly, I wanted out of the house. Went to the grocery store and bought ice cream for the family and Lorna Doone cookies for me. I had two servings (and no servings in the car on the way home! I wanted to, but I didn't!) and then I put the cookies away. STEP AWAY FROM THE COOKIES! DANGER, DANGER!
So, not only did I enable DH's craving, I enabled my own! I also didn't go to the gym, even tho I dressed for it. I decided that I needed to stay home and get some work done. After all, I gave blood and I'm supposed to rest up. (Told you I had a list of excuses!)
I'm feeling less cranky now. Tomorrow is Friday and another chance for the boss to give me something to do! Plus, it's pizza night. Chicken, garlic, artichoke, bacon pizza, here I come!!
Oh yeah, and when I asked my son what I should blog about, he said to blog about how handsome he is, how much I love him and how much money I'm going to give him. So here it is...Very, Lots, Zero!

The Spark People Wheel, that is. I have two, which I will now explain to you in great detail. That's great as in wonderful, awesome, outstanding. Not great as in lots of details.
First theory...if you spin the wheel last, after you've done everything else to earn Spark Points, you will get more points. I have proved that this theory is true on many occasions. There are days when I have very few points from other activities, I spin the wheel and get 1 point. Other days, I get as many as I can and then get the top prize, sometimes as many as 25 points! Unfortunately, I've also proved this theory wrong when the exact opposite happens. Not ready to say this one is busted though. More study is required.
The second theory is that if you add up all of the points you've ever gotten off the wheel and divide by the number of times you've spun the wheel, the number will be three. Three is the most common number (it seems like anyway). If you win one of the 500 Spark Point prizes (for Goodies), you get three points. One plus five, divided by two equals three. Same with 4+2...I have neither proved nor disproved this theory. Mostly because it would require that I keep a running tab of how many points I get each time I spin the wheel. Not that I'm opposed to that! I LOVE stuff like this and Excel is awesome for it. In fact, I'm composing what the spreadsheet would look like as I'm typing this. And it includes both theories!! I'm brilliant!!
Anyway, back to why I haven't done it yet. I keep forgetting. Hard to track trends if you can't remember what they are! LOL!
BTW...I got three points on the wheel today.

He has always wanted a bulldog or a boxer puppy. His mom had one when he was a teen and he loved that dog. So, a few months ago (almost a year now), he brought home Abby, a boxer. She is an adorable puppy and is very much a puppy! And, apparently will be for another three to four years (or maybe ten?). My DH LOVES that dog! If she looks like she might be cold, he'll cuddle her (in a manly way, of course!) to get her warm. If she is sick, he is the first to notice. I think he "notices" her ailments even when she doesn't have any! If she gets in trouble (by me), it's only because she's misunderstood! LOL!
This last Sunday, I was hobbling around something fierce. I had done Day One, Level One of JM's 30-day Shred. I should have known better because Jillian ALWAYS kicks my butt and I am sore for days after. But, I did it anyway. DH asked me no less than three times what was wrong with me. Each time, I explained my folly. Each time, he seemed to listen. Each time, he really hadn't.
Later that same afternoon, he called me into the kitchen in a fairly urgent manner. Hurry up and come look at this! I hurried (as best as I could...not a pretty sight!) to see what was so important. Yep. Abby had a few bumps on her butt, an allergic reaction to something. She wasn't scratching or whining or complaining in any way. In fact, she was sunning herself and had probably been asleep before she heard Daddy say her name. The rest of the afternoon, DH kept a sharp eye on Abby to make sure she didn't get any worse. He also remarked that she "acted sick." But couldn't remember why I was limping? Yep, she's his favorite! LOL!
One day, it might have even been Sunday, DH was working on his laptop while I was on this PC. He looked and me and asked "What's your name?" I answered "Sexy B!tch." He said, "Sexy B1tch, come here. I want to show you something." Before I could move Abby was at his feet, wagging her stump as if to say "You called?" LOL! At least she knows who and what she is! LOL!
Please note...no dogs were harmed in the making of this blog. Abby is a big sweetie who is just misunderstood!
