So...yesterday, when looking at everything that had to be accomplished, I was getting a little stressed. But, since I'm a planner, I planned out my whole day and figured out that I could have everything done if I followed my timetable...and it wasn't all that strict!
I got up at 6:00 and headed to the gym. Home and showered and breakfast by 8:30. Also got laundry started, kids up and working (they LOVED that!) and started making chocolates. Even had time to talk to work three times before heading to the football game.
Miracle of miracles, the football game started on time! First time all year!!! While I was sitting there, one of the Moms asked me if I would like her to pick up the gift cards for the coaches (Yes!!) and another Mom suggested gift card or cash for her son's birthday (I asked, so totally cool!). That took two whole trips out of my afternoon! That equaled at least two hours!!! That means I had time to come home, relax, play with the dogs (even took them and the kids to the park), Spark, and get my son ready for the sleepover! No stress and everything got done! Woo hoo!!!
To top it all off, tonight was Bunco. I love Bunco because it's a reason to meet with eleven other women, drink, eat and have fun. We each put in $10 and basically call it "Adding to the friend fund" each week. Well....this week, I won!!! That means I have enough money to finish paying for contacts, get my hair done and get at least one bra. Looking to pay for more regular bras and sports bras too, but I'll take what I can get! Woo Hoo!!!
Time to go refill my drink, grab my book and wait for SNL!

Watching Jay Leno as I Spark people. He has a segment where audience members cans how off their talents. First guy plays the national anthem on his cell phone. Second guy takes off his underwear without removing his pants first (let me tell you...I had to watch that!). The third person was a lady who could make animal noises.
She started barking and my dogs came alive! They started barking and were trying to figure out where this new dog was!! I let them outside so they could go look. You should have seen them run!! It was hilarious! Luckily they were outside before she started sounding like two dogs fighting! That would have freaked them out!!

Woke up this morning at 5:35...meant to get up at 4:30 and go to the gym. I set my alarm last night. I checked it and the music was on, good to go! Except I set it for 4:30 pm....Oops!
No biggie. I skipped the workout. Still a little bit of a cough, so sitting out one more day is probably good for me. DDS appointment, get the panoramic x-ray and a nice teeth cleaning. Gums are healthy, bones are healthy, still no cavities (ever!). Get to work, do stuff, come home.
Fix dinner and get the puppy ready to go to puppy training. She was VERY excited about going out so didn't listen very well. Son decided he wanted to go too. DH stayed home...he wasn't feeling well and the Boise State game was on. Almost there and I get a phone call...DH had cracked his tooth on dinner (we had chicken and I'm guessing they weren't as boneless as they were supposed to be!). I had to call the DDS (DH doesn't use phone books, he uses me! LOL!). DDS isn't home so I leave a message. Please call DH at this number (give him home #). So what does DDS do...he calls me! Grrr....
Get that taken care of and take Abby and son into puppy training. Boy behaves worse than the dog. He doesn't sit, he sprawls on the floor in front of class. As we're practicing the walk/sit, he's pointing out birds and pictures and I don't know what all. Ummmm...kinda busy here! See, puppy, sit, walk? Deep breath, move on. We then go to practice the "come" command. Abby attacks the smallest dog in class. I have to hold her down (trainer gave me some tips there) and it took her five minutes to chill! And she did it twice!!
Finally get to leave class but have to head to the pharmacy for pain pills for DH so he can make it through the night until he goes to see DDS tomorrow. As I'm driving, Abby decides that she needs to see things from my point of view...she decides to share my seat with me!! Luckily I was at the pharmacy and was able to pull into a parking spot without hitting anyone or anything! Dang dog!!
After I get home, I eat dinner and finish getting the kids ready for school. Daughter had told DH that she didn't need to read. She conveniently forgot that she is reading 20 minutes every night. Her teacher requires that they read 45 pages per week (I know, per week! I read that every day!!). Daughter has not been handing in her reading logs (that means F's in reading). When I saw that, I decided that 45 minutes a week was too low a goal and she wasn't working hard enough to reach it. Therefore, she would read 20 minutes per night, regardless of the number of pages she had read. Well...she got all teenagery on us when I told her she needed to read. Dh got "mad dad" on her cos she lied to him. She's going to be at 8:00 the rest of the week (tee hee). But, she read! And her reading log is filled out! And she's not getting an F this week! Looks like Mommy was right! Again!!
By the time everyone was in bed, there had been at least two fights (kids), a plugged toilet and crankiness beyond belief! So glad they're in bed and I get to go there soon.

Of course, I wasn't feeling well, so all I had on my list was sleep, read and eat! LOL! But, I did all of those things! I took two short naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I've read almost half of my newest book and I stayed in range on 7 of the 8 nutrients I track!
Overall, a very good day. The only thing that casts a pall over the day is the fact that I'm heading back to work tomorrow! LOL!
One more dose of meds and then off to bed early. Night all!
