Or I need to learn to function on no sleep.

It seems like I can never get everything done. I should be chopping veggies for chili, but I'm not. I'd rather be reading my book, but I'm not. Maybe what I need to learn to do is not cook or clean or do laundry. That would gain me hours per week!

It has been a great day. Out for breakfast with the family. DH and I ran a couple of errands and went out to lunch. I got laundry done, cleaned the master bath, put some stuff into the freezer, read my book and worked out.

Waiting for fireworks now. Then, it's off to bed. AND, I still have another day before I go back to work!!!

Groceries at midnight?

Here it is, midnight, and I still have half of my groceries to put away. Yes, the frozen and refrigerated stuff is done. It's the cans and miscellaneous that still need to be put away.

Why do I have groceries at midnight? Cos the choice was to go tonight (leaving the house shortly after nine) or go really early tomorrow morning. I don't do well with mornings, so late tonight was a better choice for me. Why not tomorrow, later in the day? Because I hate people! LOL!! Seriously, the crowds would have killed me!!! This worked out best for me.

all day! Even the last hour at work D - R - A - G - G - E - D! And, to top it all off, I still have to go in tomorrow.

It's 11:00 at night, I have a load of laundry in the washer and food cooking in the oven. I should be going to bed, but not quite ready. I think I'll be taking in a LOT of caffiene tomorrow.

One more bruise for the collection

Tonight was our third practice. The guy I warmed up with can throw the ball HARD!! Apparently, I caught one of his throws right upper pads on my hand. Nice, pretty bruise now. I'm icing it when I'm not typing! My plan is to tell DH that I can't cook dinner tomorrow because my hand is too bruised. I need to ice it so that I am ready for softball!! LOL!!

We practiced hitting and I did pretty good. I found that if I wait just a beat longer, the ball won't ALWAYS go to short stop. Also, if I step up just a little in the box, I can hit it to right field (okay, in right field's direction) sometimes. When we weren't hitting, we rotated the different positions. I actually caught a fly ball to left field! Yippee!!! We won't mention all of the ones I missed.

Time to ice the hand and relax the bod so I can get ready for bed.
