Slept in until 9:00. Made breakfast since today is DH's birthday. Took a nap. Went to a meeting for the softball tournament. Made dinner. Went to the gym. Will finish a book. Can't ask for much more than that!

A typical Saturday for me! Our subdivision had a community sale and, since my daughter's first game of the day was cancelled, we decided to set up for it. We did not have as much traffic as we did last weekend. Turns out it is graduation weekend and not as many folks are out and about. Oh well.
About 11:30, we packed up so I could get to her game. Shoved in a sandwich and carrots on the way. THEN! it was time for the library and grocery store (DH's birthday is tomorrow) and then back home for HPC and workout. After all of the pushups, both for the HPC and JM's NMTZ's, my arms almost did not cooperate with me to make dinner!
And through it all, laundry. I do so love laundry (detect the sarcasm!).
All right, kids are clamoring for the PC. I guess my time is up. Nite y'all!

off the wagon, that is. I had a coupon for buy one get one free - McDonald's Breakfast Sandwich. That is too great a bargain to pass up, so I bought two Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuits (for the price of one! ). Well, then I had two sandwiches and it would have been wrong and wasteful to not guarantee that both were eaten. And I'm NOT generous enough to share. So, what's a girl to do? Yep, I ate them both!
But I didn't stop there. Oh no, that would have been too easy. Nope, I had some peanuts in the shell, my regular lunch and a yogurt and cereal snack. Not bad, right? Until you finish out the afternoon with two Grandma's Old Fashioned Peanut Butter cookies (see above for why I had to eat them both). I come home and do I get ready for the gym like I do practically every other night? Noooooo...I make nachos for dinner. And not the healthy version that I've come to know and love, the BIG, overloaded, gobs of cheese with salsa, sour cream and refried beans version! And I wash it down with (what else) a Mojito!
I jumped so far from the wagon that I couldn't even see it's dust any more by the time I looked up.
But, that's okay. One day is not going to make me regain all of the weight I've lost. Plus, I did do some things right. I still got in lots of water. The sour cream was low fat. I had veggies. The refried beans were fat free. And the pile of nachos was a moderate amount, not tons like I've done in the past. And, I think I logged it all, even though I didn't really want to 'fess up. Tomorrow, I'll start the day right and continue making the best choices I can. And hit the gym for a six-hour session to make up for today! LOL!!! (okay, maybe 5 1/2 hours)!

Apparently, I shrugged off the funk that was hanging over me yesterday. Today was SOOOOO much better. Again, nothing really happened, good or bad. Goes to show that attitude is everything.
Oh, just remembered, one pretty good thing happened. First, a little background. My daughter plays softball and I have been a coach, either head coach or assistant, on her teams for the last four years. This year, the league didn't need me to coach. No problem. Well, for tournament, two of my daughter's three coaches were unavailable. I told the 3rd coach that I would help. One week of "coaching' is totally doable.
Tonight, the 3rd coach and I were discussing the tournament, practices, etc. when my daughter and his daughter made an announcement. They decided that they want the two of us to coach next year! I think that's pretty cool. The team wants to stay together (as much as they can) and the head coach has decided not to coach next year. Maybe they chose us because we were there, but who cares. They picked me! They like me, they really like me! (At least, in my world they do!) LOL!!

It was just a cruddy day. And, the sad thing, it was all my own darn fault! Nothing really bad happened. I even finished a couple of projects at work. I just woke up in a funk and couldn't seem to shake it. The only good thing is that my crankiness pushed me out the door for an extra walk this evening. Maybe I'll stop being such a whiner and actually enjoy my day tomorrow! Or not. You'll have to tune and see. LOL!!
