For the longest time, I went to the gym every day (or every work out day, anyway) and did my routine on the elliptical. Sometimes I would go longer, or faster or maybe a little harder during the commercials. But really, not very much variety. Plus, I've always focused on the calories i intake, not so much the other nutrients.
The last couple of weeks, I've started trying different workouts, running, JM's workouts, and elliptical. Plus, I've been trying to pay more attention to the other nutrients, fiber, calcium, sodium, etc. I've even (mostly) given up Diet Pepsi! I've even started adding salads to my dinners. The struggle right now is with my family and getting them to eat more veggies. Working on that!
My current goals are to reach goal weight by 4/8, continue my reduction of DP intake, and restart the Hundred Pushup Challenge. I just added a new goal. To make it through Jillian's Cardio Blast without huffing and puffing like a freight train. I can huff and puff like a passenger train, that's expected! But a freight train is louder and BIGGER!
Still using the eat like a king in the morning, a prince for lunch and a pauper at night. It's helping me not snack after dinner. And running my report at the end of the day is another clue that I'm done eating! LOVE that report!!!

I took tonight off from exercise. It was a cold, dreary, rainy day that usually makes me want to hole up with a blanket, a good book and lots of food! Since it was raining when I got home, I really didn't want to have to go back outside to go to the gym. Plus, my favorite (and only) show was on tonight and didn't want to miss it. Excuses? Probably. Okay, yes. But rest days are good for you and I'm feeling just fine about it!
Now I'm going to be able to relax for a few minutes before heading to bed. It'll be nice to have a few minutes to myself before the end of the day.

yet so not there yet! April 1st is my goal date to get to goal weight. I am not going to make it unless I lose 3 pounds in two days. I'm not willing to do anything unhealthy or crazy or whatever to make that happen. So, resetting my date. But this time, I'm setting it for sooner. I think I gave myself too much time to lose the three pounds and ended up stalling.
So...by April 8th, I will be at my goal weight of 130. When I make that goal, I will buy myself a cute set of matching under-things.

Well, after signing off from my Spark friends, I started the responsible thing and made menus followed by a grocery list. I even checked the menu for tonight's dinner. Good thing I did too! I needed to pull some meat out of the freezer!
DH and I got to our appointment on time and then I did my grocery shopping. Forgot the receipt to return the track pants, so I'll have to try again on that. Also, forgot all of my reusable bags and the tote I haul groceries in. Not bad, though, for doing everything at 11:00 at night!
After doing the menus and planning around my MIL's visit, I found out that I planned the wrong weekend! She'll be here in two weeks, not one! Dang it!!! I have to redo everything to fit her nutrition/diet plan. My son has Celiac, but isn't too terribly sensitive. However, MIL also has Celiac and is VERY sensitive to any gluten. Cross-contamination is a big thing we have to watch out for with her. Also, she has some lactose intolerance, has difficulty with red sauces and I think she found something else she's allergic to. DH is supposed to find out tomorrow what that is. Once he does, and I figure out exactly when they'll be here, I'll rearrange the meals that I planned for the next two weeks.
I'm a planner and things like this mess me up!! My own fault though. I wrote down the wrong weekend. Oh well, at least the kids will have Nana and Poppa here for Easter. That will be nice for everyone.
