My first 5k

I did it! I ran my first 5k, Saturday November 22. I did it in 41:41. It was super cold! 18 degrees! I came in 50th out of 57th. The placement doesn't matter to me. I just didn't want to be last. I'm proud of myself! I had only been training for 6 weeks of c25k. I can't wait for my next one!

So I am trying to get back to good habits. I have worked out the last 2 days. When I enter it in here it shows up and then goes right away. Is there something changed since I was gone? Help please!!

First time on STAGE!!

I have been going to Zumba since Jan. And today I got on stage for the first time!! It was so fun and I am really glad I did it!!

Alot has happen since I have last blogged. In March my mom was hospitalized and they found a large tumor on her small intestitine. We are now waiting to go to Charlottesville, Va to see if they can remove it without her living with a colostomomy bag. Keep my family in your prayers please.


We are now less than a month til our cruise. I am down 37lbs and my husband is down 40lbs. So that is exciting.

I volunteer at my son's school and a friend and I were voted Volunteers of the Year. We get to go to a luncheon this week.

My boys are starting baseball. So I will be at the baseball field 4 days a week...not looking forward to this.

All in all life is life and I am taking it one day at a time.

Help needed~!

Ok, I have been working out for the last few months. I have been also been eating clean, around 1500 calories a day. But here lately I am exhausted!!! I don't know why. I take a muli-vitamin, b12 and fish oil daily. I also get 8 hours of sleep a day.

Any suggestions to get my energy up? Thanks!!!

    Are you stressed? You been to the doctor lately? I was feeling fatigued several years ago. Kept thinking it was just LIFE making me feel that way with two little ones and one of them being high maintenance in the medical department. But I had a routine lab draw that showed a thyroid problem. A possibility for you? Who knows but might be a starting point?

Week in Review :)

This week I reached all my goals. I did Zumba 4 hrs. I went to a night class and then decided to stay for the 2nd class. I was having so much fun!! I was sore the next day but it was worth it. I lost 3.3lbs this week. I did week 2 of C25K. I will probably go ahead and repeat it this week. I don't feel like I am ready to move up to week 3 just yet. I didn't do my kettlebell. I plan to do a workout today. And I lifted once this week. I only have one day off and I think my body is starting to feel it. I am going to try and get a run and a zumba class in one day so it's not on seperate and I can rest. This Sat. I am going to my 1st Zumbathon! I am excited about it!! It should be fun!

I have 65 days til my cruise!

Oh I almost forgot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went dress shopping last night and got a 16 zipped!!!!!! I was so excited! It's been years since I have worn a 16. I didn't like the way it looked on so I didn't end up getting it. But it was awesome that it fit.


This weeks goal

1. At least 3 workouts of Zumba
2. Redo Week 2 of C25K
3. 1 Kettlebell workout
4. Lift weights 2 days this week
