Say it isn't so!

Monday, April 04, 2011

I'm up 1 lb since yesterday - oh NO! I know that my thyroid medication dose goes down over the weekend & that could be the culprit, as I have been devoted to my meal plan & exercise routine. The key for today is not to throw in the towel & use this as an excuse to binge.

I'm reminding myself that I feel better by sticking with the program & that is reason enough with or without the weight loss. Plus, I still have the whole week left before my next "scheduled" weekly weigh in.

Its all about keeping the faith & staying committed to my goals. emoticon

Don't let the ups on the scale bother you too much unless it keeps on happening-- at least it was only a pound. I was up this week and last week--- 20 pounds in 2 weeks~ I am trying to get it off now. Not to worry yours will come tight off.

That is awesome!! Is the walker permanent or temporary? I have been on a cane for what seems like forever!

Back Pat

Sunday, April 03, 2011

Am patting myself on the back for doing my strength exercises today. I did not want to do them - I was busy with other things. But then, strangely, I decided to make myself a priority & after the 40 minutes of working out, I knew that I felt better. Both physically & psychologically for not letting myself down.

1/2 Mile Walk Turns Into 5K - EGAD!!!

Thursday, March 31, 2011

When I thought I was signing up for a relatively easy peasy 1/2 mile walk w/ the American Heart Association for next Wednesday, it turns out that I also registered (ACCIDENTLY) for a 5K walk in September. WHAT?!

Have decided that the Universe was apparently trying to give me a nudge (aka "Push me off a cliff!") in the goal setting dept., so have let the registration stand. Now I'm in training to ditch my walker between now & then in preparation for the 5K walk.

Holy Guacamole, Bat Girl!

You can join me in your town for the 1/2 mile walk next week. Here's a link:
