It really tasted good to me and was loaded with vegetables!
I used Turkey Italian Sausages (very low fat) and split them lengthwise and browned them in a little EVOO. Took them out of pan and added chopped onion, garlic, multi-colored peppers, 2 zucchini, and all the herbs I use for spaghetti sauce with very little water and browned them well. Cut the sausages into bite sized pieces and put them back in pan with 1 1/2 qts. of Organic Tomato Basil Sauce I purchased at Aldi's. Simmered for a while, then put it over the spaghetti squash I cooked previously, added Parmesan and had a delicious dinner. No one would ever miss the calorie laded pasta!!!

That's what DH asked this morning after having it for two mornings.
I used 1 cup oatmeal, 2 1/2 cups water, 1 small McIntosh apple, chopped, little handful Craisins and a couple of shakes Cinnamon. Cooked until apples were soft. Then topped with brown sugar and milk. (I like chopped pecans, too.)
This made so much there was enough for 4 servings. (We reheat in microwave next day.)
I will put this into recipe calculator to get nutritional count.
Try it on a cool morning when apples are fresh and good!

My husband asked me what was clunking in the washer this morning and I had no idea what it was and you can't stop these washers to find out.
When it was done, I found my 1 1/2 yr. old cell phone which one of our son's provides for us. I had left it in a pocket!!!
So we are headed to the Verizon store to look for a new one.
Please, either cry with me or for me!!!

Still no emails from Spark!!!
Still having busy days here on lake where weather is gorgeous!
Still preparing lots of good meals. Tonight is rib roast, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, cooked cauliflower with cheese sauce, sauteed zucchini and summer squash with onions and red peppers. Probably a toss salad or maybe another fruit salad. Guess I had better cut the last very large pineapple, add strawberries and blueberries.
For breakfast we had cubed cantaloupe with blueberries. Bought big bananas yesterday and they are gone before I know it!
Oh, and I made gluten free brownies as well as regular brownies and we will eat them later with leftover homemade ice cream. Probably after fireworks tonight over Lake Gaston.
