Yesterday went very well, I think Spark is going to work for me. I like the idea of going back to my blog, and checking off the goals, like I did with yesterday.
Goals for today:
1. Exercise ball - 5 minutes
2. 10,000 steps with pedometer - 8000
3. Stay under 1800 calories -- good until dinner
Other things to be done.
4. Finish organizing computer room. no
5. Call about 403b- yes, but a lot more to be done
6. Finish ironing -yes
7. Do one photography lesson -no
8. Make one pair of earrings.- no
9. Call about garden restoration - no
9. Take mom to foot doctor. - yes
10. Plan a nice dinner- yes
11. Print list and refer to it during day. no --- time got sucked up with taking mom to doctor and then she wanted a ride

Went to one year birthday party for baby Orin yesterday, and ate so much bad stuff that I had acid reflux last night. Will try to be positive and instead of downing myself, just consider it a learning experience. Want to weigh myself on Mondays, and now I am afraid to. But I will soldier on!!!

Goal for today
1. Return to healthy eating. 1800 calories at the most. - yes
2. Use pedometer and walk 10,000 steps. - did 8000
3. Continue and possibly finish organizing computer room. -- no
4. Don't forget exercise ball and yoga. a bit with ball, too tired for yoga in evening
5. Print these goals out and refer to them through the day. - forgot to do

    Don't feel too bad......go to my page and read the blog I did right around Christmas on the peanut chocolate clusters......back on track today........ emoticon emoticon oh......and Orin is one beautiful boy!

Sunday 1/15/21 Taxes

Just realized I have to get the tax stuff ready for myself and for my mom. Her estate is so complicated, I just dread it. I go to my computer room, and instead of making real progress, I find myself organizing business cards from restaurants, doctors, shops. How stupid is that? but it is comforting. Also, my taxes may be messed up because I retired this year. I hope I paid enough, I do not want to have a penalty. I have so many little papers and I have to look at each one, decide to toss it, or save it, and then put it in a place where I can retrieve it if I am saving it. Otherwise, why save it?

This process is ripe for stress eating. Ripe for it. So, my goal for today, is when I get frustrated with my "organizing", go take a walk. I bought a pedometer and I am trying for the 10,000 steps a day. It is very motivating to have the feedback from the pedometer. I found a great one, you just put it in your pocket. Yesterday, I did 5000 steps.

    You are braver than I! I just got a pedometer and gave myself a goal of 5,000 per day to begin. Good luck with your goal........ emoticon

Taxes......maybe hire someone to do it? Sounds like it might be complicated enough that it would save your peace of mind. Just a suggestion.

2. Eat within calorie range. Record in nutrition tracker.
3. Do 5 minutes of yoga.
4. Do 5 minute walk.
5. Finish sorting computer room.
6. One appointment today 10-11 at Apple
7. Finish making lasagne for Orin birthday
