Sunday Musings

Sunday, December 11, 2011

I didn't get too far with my reporting plan, but will try again on Monday. Have a busy week coming up, not only Christmas stuff, but babysitting all week, and not really looking forward to it. In fact, I am worried about it. I did not retire in order to go back to work!!!

Daily Reporting, Sir

Thursday, December 08, 2011

Resolved:

1 -be it resolved that I will finish my tracker at the end of the evening, before bed, instead of the next morning

2 - be it resolved that I will enter the calories totals for each meal,

3 - be it resolved that I will check back in to this blog and record the number of calories for each meal

Today's report --

Breakfast: 337 calories

Lunch: 202 calories, but I find it hard to believe a slice of pizza is only 140 calories according to Spark.

Snack: 326 calories - have to check is 24 grams the same as one ounce???

Dinner - over 1000 calories

DID NOT STAY WITHIN MY RANGE. Try again tomorrow

That's a great idea, Carol -- and it shows if you actually DO check back in to record those calories! I'm with you, I have not come across ANY pizza that you can eat a slice of for 140 as I think even veggie pizza, thin crust is usually around 210. For me 1 slice isn't enough either, I prefer 2 slices!

You really went overboard on dinner, didn't you? Bad girl. You will know why the scale went up! Good luck with Friday!

Consistency Award!!!

Tuesday, December 06, 2011

I have been consistent with going to Spark every day.

I have been consistent with not eating within my calorie range.

Very consistent with that.

I keep changing the range, upping it, yet I still cannot stay within it. emoticon

I have logged in each day.

--I have tried to do extra exercising, especially trying to keep up with other team members.

--I have also added 5 more minutes (each time) walking on the ellipical 'cause it hurt my knees too. I can now do a mile on it faster than on the treadmill.

--I have tried to drink more water, morning and afternoons.

-- I have tried to add more veggies, and less tempting snacks.

I have lost 0.5#s in the first week.

I believe for the Consistency Award from SP you do not have to log in every single day -- perhaps 95% or above?? Not sure.

But consistency is what pays off in the long run, because if you are not consistent, the damage caused on your "bad" days will usually overcome the results of your "good" days! A hard fact, but true!

I have been consistent with logging in every day and consistent with the food tracking.

I broke the 140's at my weigh in and am now in the HIGH 130's,(139.8)

Me? Just logging in every day....not much of anything else.

I haven't upped anything. Keep up the good work....at least one of us is doing it right!
