What keeps me going with Spark is discovering new things all the time with it.
I never knew about these "meal plans" and at first, they just looked stupid. But then I discovered you can substitute items on the plan, customizing it. Also, you can eat all your own stuff, too, if you want to. The meal plans are actually a helpful guide for the day.
Yesterday I strictly followed the meal plan for breakfast and lunch. It was fun to make a spark recipe (well, I made two) I am stuck home anyway because I cannot talk. (when will this laryngitis ever go away?) So, I had the time to fiddle around with it.
I was really surprised. I was not hungry, yet my calories were within my range. It rather amazed me because when I eat my own way, I am too hungry. I also tried to be really strict, even recording the lemon drops I was sucking on for my laryngitis!!!
