It's Monday Morning, and I was excited to start a new week. I thought I was having a low calorie breakfast, but after I entered the items, it came to 500!!! Okay, so really, this tears it. I have to enter the food items in the planner BEFORE I eat anything.

All I had was an egg, 2 cups of nonfat milk, and a biscuit (homemade) Oops, I even forgot to list the jam. Darn. Have to go back. I want to be scrupulously honest with myself.

Okay, this means I really and truly have to plan my lunch today. Under 300 calories, with lots of fiber. How to do that?

    Lots of veggies will give you plenty of fiber without adding tons of calories. Stir fry a bunch of them together, add a little olive oil and vinegar, or soy sauce, and serve over rice or noodles. Low calorie, high fiber. :)

I have to get back to my exercise habit. The sprained ankle and the virus put me out of commission. Now I am still weak, and cut my finger deeply on a cuisinart blade. Don't know if it needs stitches. I think it is okay, just deeper than a normal cut.

Funny how I was doing so well with walking, and now I really am not in the mood to do it at all. AT ALL. It will take a big dose of effort. I am still coughing and my voice is still raspy and I cannot talk for too long, so I better wait.

Saturday Weigh In

For 5% challenge: I will feel good if I weigh the same. I have not had any exercise this week, due to my illness, and I have just eaten foods that make me feel good.

Warm weather

Having an "Indian summer" here, quite a relief from all the cold and the fog. Consciously ate fiber yesterday due to the 5% challenge. It is hard to be aware and conscious!!!

    Good for you. I did not reach the recommended level for fiber once during this challenge. Looks like I need to work on that!
