I am very proud that I have been consistent in checking in every day and doing the food journal. I still cannot get to 1800 calories a day. It is amazing to me how hard that is. But I feel hopeful. At least now, with the food journal, I really can see how much I eat. I am even recording those snacks, the five little chocolates (so tiny) I popped into my mouth last night. I see that Spark is an entire educational experience. I still cannot figure out the calories when I eat out, but slowly, by weighing foods at home, and then really looking at the portion, I am getting better at estimating. How much is 100 grams of French Fries? What does that look like? I almost can answer that question. Can you?
