One more day - as they say in Les Miserables

Weekend was a bust....but today is another day - and I did get up in time to eat a decent breakfast...plan to go the park and do the 3 mile walk today - I do enjoy a good walk with the doggie.....that should help...where oh where is my mojo!

    No point looking back at what was, FOCUS on what is and What YOU CAN DO... You can get on track, make yourself a priority and heck Fake it til you make it if you have to!

    sounds like today is off to a good start. I know when I had lost mine, I had to make myself do it regardless if I had it or not! And now, it's part of my daily, just like brushing my teeth and eating! let's do this! one day at a time!!

And I am not ON - can't seem to get there....Eating out is my biggest downfall - I hate to cook - I really don't enjoy eating at home...and enjoy going out.....but I am gonna keep on truckin - and do what I know I need to do....this is gonna happen I am gonna make it happen.

    THanks, gang - I have come to that conclusion as well - we ate out at lunch a few times last week - and I didn't even feel like having a big dinner.....maybe that will work - also part of it is me...my head just hasn't gotten to the right place so far....but today is a new start! Gonna get it right! GOtta get it right!

    I 2nd Nicole! I feel the same way as you do Carol! I've been struggling with that also! I've actually try to switch my big meal times when i want to go out. I have found by eating out at lunch instead of dinner, my body seems to accept it better. I think that usually, if we eat a larger meal in the evening, we tend to relax and then sleep afterwards. But by continuing to move after lunch, that my body seems to rid of those calories! Wether, it's true or not, I do KNOW that I feel MUCH better when I eat out at lunch and then have a salad or sandwich at dinner time!!

Seventh Day of the Challenge

It is so hard to keep up with all this stuff when I am not at home with my own foods - my own time and my own equipment.....

That being said - I have really done good at my eating - my calories have been in complete range 4 out of 7 days - and only a few points over the other days....THat is the positive...

Finding time to blog - not so good..
Drinking enough water - not so good
Tracking exercise minutes not so good

But I have done more than I ever would have attempted while on vacation - so I am gonna say for this week - I am proud of my effort...and next week I will get the rest all in line! Am enjoying my walks - when I get home am looking forward to swimming my laps!

Tomorrow is weigh in day - first week - and I think I have lost weight - I really do!!!! Can't wait!

    I too had a great week - I didn't lose, but I feel good with the process and look forward to a nice healthy loss next week :-) I too tracked every day, and stayed in range all the days, but one or two of those was ONLY because my range is on crack :-)

Looking forward to seeing how you did this week!

Fourth Day of Challenge

WOw - just tracked my food for today and am well within my target range - YAY! and I logged it ....So for the N and the W I am all set....

FOr the E - not so good - BUT only for the challenge - I didn't do my walk and I didn't do my gym class - BUT

I cleaned my sisters house that she just moved into - moved furniture all over the place - and painted her bedroom including the floorboards...then put the room all back together - the bed - the dressers - the mattresses - Had no energy left to do any MORE exercises - but I promise you that I worked some muscles today that haven't been worked in years! SORE!!!

    Good job mama! I actually went on a walk with HUBBY and DD today to get my exercise in. I had ZERO intention of working out, but that darn challenge pushed me to do it :-)

But your chores and furniture moving sounds like a pretty good workout if you ask me. A lot better than raking leaves :-) (although....)

    Sounds to me like you got in WAY more than 20 minutes today... Heavy cleaning/ moving are in the exercise tracker so I'd say you earned that 5 points!

Third day of challenge

Well - so far so good.....finding me weaknesses - that's good (I guess)....
TOday for the NEW challenge:

N - I logged my food - but didn't quite stay under - 1550 calories -went to 1650...drat!!!!
E - did 30 minute walk - and tried to do the Gym class - still need to do some crunches tho.
W - Logged in all my food - and now I am talking to myself -

Note to self: when you go the Friendly's and eat a really good salad with no dressing - keep your spoon out of your sister's hot fudge sundae!!!!

    Really for a day not in target you did REALLY WELL. Those kinds of slips will happen but you were honest with it and tracked it.. and next time you will OVERCOME that TEMPTATION!
