Enjoying the beautiful weather and eagerly waiting for spring to arrive and settle in. I am anxious to hit the trails. I love to be outside - hiking waterfall trails the most.

I've been hitting my 10,000 steps daily since the March thru March challenge started. I am exicited about that and look forward to the end results.

Time to start making plans for my garden!

Well, I had to get creative again today to get my 10, 000 steps in. Most of my day at the office was filled with meetings and crunching numbers behind the desk. After 9 hours in the office, I came home to discover that I still had almost 6,000 steps to get in.

I was not going to walk in this very cold, windy weather. So, I turned on an episode of my favorite show, Criminal Minds and walked through the entire episode - commercials and all.

So, I managed to get all my steps in again today! Whooo Hoo!

Marching thru March

Well I am on day three of the GA monthly challenge and pleased to say that I have accomplished 20,000+ steps already. I pray that I can keep it up. I had to get creative to get those last steps in last night. (Jogged from room to room ). With the weather bad, I did not get my evening walk in. It will be windy and cold tonight so I more than likely wont be walking tonight. So, this morning, I found myself walking in place while blow drying my hair. Gotta do whatcha gotta do to get moving.

    I'm loving the March challenge. I don't have or use a pedometer, so instead I have been just logging my fitness minutes instead. These challenges really keeps the motivation high, I love it! WTG for being creative and doing what you can to get moving. It is so true that it takes very little effort to get exercise into your daily routine, but a lot of people overlook the simplicity of it all.

Started the day with an awesome workout. Pigging out on air like crazy and just enjoying the moment. In mid work out, I managed to catch my toenail and ripped part of it off. I didn't stop until the workout was complete...boy did it hurt all day long.
It was super busy today. Between Lenten services and payroll - my head was spinning.

I decided to take a walk with my husband when we got home from work and before settling into the kitchen to cook. I usually don't walk in the cold weather because I stay so cold since I started losing weight. I bundled up and off we went. The wind was whipping around like crazy. The air was crisp. All the tension of the day and the run down feeling from yesterday blew away with the wind. It was absolutely energizing to walk/jog.

So very thankful I decided to start my evening with a walk in the crisp air....I feel so very refreshed.

feeling run down

Boy and I feeling run down and tired. I really would like to take some vacation time or something but I need to save it for May since Danny is graduating.

Guess I will try to turn in early tonight. I think I need to take a look at what I have been eating just in case.

    I love the background on your page. Can't you just hear that babbling brook? I think we are all reaching that point where we have had enough winter. I think you will be amazed at your renewed energy once warmer weather and sun re-appear.
