I cleaned out my e-mail just now. It took a long time - my e-mail had been piling up. So while I didn't comment on every blog, post on every board, reply to every message, I did read everything. Sometimes the huge number of e-mails just sneaks up on me... one day it's about 20, and the next day it somehow gets up past 60. Hm.
This weekend was symphony weekend at my mom's. Saturday morning was a little shopping with my bestie - I had a friends and family coupon for the Gap, so I got some shirts and a sweater-vest-cardigan (XS - woot woot!), and some pants for my honey. Went to lunch at Panera - the calories are listed on the boards now, which is good and bad. I really wanted some creamy tomato soup, but I saw that it had 300 calories in it. Add that to the 400ish calories of the sandwich I really wanted, and it equals a really high-calorie lunch. Sigh. So I got the black bean soup (120 calories) and the sesame chicken salad (200? calories). Hm. The kicker is that I got a cinnamon roll to share and didn't even bother looking at the calories in *that*. Ha!
Dinner was Mexican at one of my very favorite Mexican restaurants. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their chicken chimichangas, but a deep-fried burrito is not exactly a "relatively healthy choice" like I told myself I was going to make. So fajitas were my Mexican of choice. YUM. Sizzling plate of chicken, shrimp, and beef... perfectly steamed tortillas... delicious sides... heaven. Dessert was fried ice cream. YUM.
This morning I woke up, threw on my running stuff, and ran to breakfast. I wanted to run for about 30-45 minutes, but I woke up late. But I ran anyway. So it was for less than a mile, but it was better than not running at all. Pigs in a blanket for breakfast... yum.
So my nutrition was not very healthy this weekend, but I planned for that.
- morning doctor appointment
- mid-morning gym time
- 12-8pm: conferences at school. Ugh.
- water water water
