It's Friday, Friday...

As usually happens, 8 pm rolls around and I'm starving. Add to that, that it is Friday night and I have an un-opened bottle of merlot in the house... that is a bad combo. I have been looking at recent pics and pics of the wedding dress that I desperately want to fit into to try and stay motivated. I have a new book and I'm itching to start a new knitting project so hopefully all these things can distract me long enough to muster up some self control! Tomorrow's plan- gym in the morning... laundry.. thats all I've got so far. 4 days off work, I'm going to have to keep busy so I dont crash and burn.. *I can do it!!!*

    The wine totally snags me up sometimes too. My rule is, if by the end of the night I feel like having a glass, then I will. Yesterday...I had 3...oops! This is a journey right? Picked myself up, dusted myself off and had a pretty kickass day today. Popcorn is a good filler for late night munchies. My hubbs is a night owl so if I stay up with him I'm usually starving...that's a good one...low cal and filling :)

Afternoon slump! I get the munchies, I want a nap and It's really slow at work today, so all I can think about is not going into the kitchen and raiding the snack cupboard. I'm trying to work out a gym schedule for myself... working 12 hour shifts 4 days a week makes it a little difficult. I woke up early and went before work yesterday, but I was TOTALLY exhausted by 5 pm. I had to by-pass the kitchen and go straight to bed when I got home so I wouldn't eat all the crackers. I slept REALLY well though... maybe I'll try every-other day during the work week and go every day on my days off..
