Started tracking at just the right time

There seems to be a time when I am really overeating and gaining weight (instead of holding steady). I caught myself at just the right time because when I started tracking and eating less I lost 5 lb. right away. I do NOT expect this to keep happening, but I will keep tracking. I started off with a goal to lose 2 lb. a week, but this may be too ambitious. If it is, I will cut back to a goal of 1.5 lb. lost a week. Didn't gain it all at once, as they say. :)
