I said I would take my time reaching my goals, but this is now getting ridiculous. I started my weightloss journey over the holidays in 2004. I've had a few good years where I have lost a lot of weight, and a few bad years with huge life changes when I just maintained, or gained a few pounds.
This is it - the end of the road. I will reach my ultimate goal by spring of 2012.
There are no more excuses, because I have had:
-A year to adjust to life as a full-time Marketer and part-time MBA student.
-Several months of being in a relationship to now know how to balance my diet and "me" time with "us" time. (I now cook dinners instead of eating out and bringing food in.)
-Half a year to allow my body to adjust to Crossfit and the fuel my body needs to work out at that level.
I've got the fitness part under control. Now, it's time to focus on the eating part.
Yesterday, my Crossfit gym started a Paleo challenge. The person who loses the largest percentage of body fat wins a free month - which is a fairly large chunk of change.
No woman has won such a challenge in recent history. My goal is to become the first.
I am holding myself accountable by posting a few blogs each week.
Hopefully they won't be dull and may even inspire a few people to get out of their ruts or break through plateaus.
