Here We Go Again

I'm back! AGAIN!!!!! I really didn't go anywhere, I just had a few days (ok, weeks) of no blogs. I have been getting most of my water in and some of my exercise. I just have to figure out how to get the exercise in on the days that I have to work at nine in the morning and work til five or five thirty. I know I could do it before but that would mean getting up at five instead of six. I could do it after but I just want to come home and put my feet up and not think about exercise!!! I will figure it out though cause I don't want the scale to move up instead of down. I am hovering right and I need to give myself a kick in the pants to get back on track completely! This is the first step cause if I write it down I have to hold myself to it!

Weightloss related goals:
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Track food - stay under 1300 calories
3. Exercise at least 1/2 hour

Other Goals:
1. To-Do list
2. Cut out the Booties for work

That's it for today. Let's see if I can make it back tomorrow and report how I did as well make a new list!!!!!!!!!!!

Daily Goals

Here are my results from yesterday. I got 12 glasses of water, came in at 1230 calories and did 51 minutes of exercise! For the weightloss portion I did really well. Not so much on the other stuff. I didn't get the pictures onto the disc and I didn't get any cards or layouts done. I did get all of my to-do list done except a trip to JoAnn's.
So here is my lists for today:

Weightloss Goals
1. Get at least 10 glasses of water
2. Exercise at least 30 minutes
3. Stay under 1300 calories

Other Goals
1. Get pictures onto disc
2. To-do list
3. Make at least one card or scrap a two page layout
4. Go through my dresser and clean out stuff that I don't wear

I am going to have at least three of my grandchildren here today but my DD is babysitting so I am not the responsible one today. I am hoping to get through all of this plus do a trip to JoAnn's. We'll see if I was just dreaming at the end of the day!!!

Back Again

Okay, so I haven't done so well writing a daily goal list blog. I started off with a bang and just kind of fizzled out at the beginning of August. Well I am back! I have been doing okay in the food and water department (except on the weekend!), and my exercise is getting better. I have managed to stay under 1400 cal. most of the time and I have been getting at least 8 glasses of water everyday. On the exercise front, I bought a new Wii game that is "My Fitness Coach". It has a personal trainer that puts you through a workout for which ever area you choose. There are supposed to be something like 240 different exercises. The best part is that it only cost $20. I have done it several times since I bought it and it really makes me sweat!!!!! I can't afford to go to the gym right now so I'm hoping this will work for now.
Well that should have got you all caught up with where I have been and now to where I am going! Here is my list for today:

Weightloss Related
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1300 calories
3. Exercise - 30 minutes

Other Goals
1. Get pictures together on disc to have printed
2. Make sure to-do list gets done
3. Make at least one card or scrap one 2 page layout

Consistency

I realized today that I have a major problem with consistency. I can't seem to stick with things. I do them really well for a while and then fall back into old habits. I have gotten to the place in my head that allows me to get back to them without the long guilt trips and the beating myself up too much. I am really trying to get better about tracking my food and water, and getting the exercise I need to help me lose this weight.
The best change that I have made is to try and blog my goals everyday. My "sisser", (love you Michele), started doing this last year and I kept saying that I was going to do it as well but never seemed to get to it. I made a conscious decision to blog daily when I came back from my retreat and although I haven't gotten to the place where I am doing it daily, I am really trying. I am also figuring out that I need to keep my list of daily goals simple or I get to wrapped up in other things and never complete any of them.
I do have to say that I did complete everything on my list for Monday so here's to keeping it simple!
That all being said, here is my simple little list for today!

Weightloss Related:
1. Stay under 1500 cal.
2. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
3. Exercise at least 20 minutes
4. Track everything!

Other Stuff:
1. My to-do list
2. Get pictures onto computer
3. Update blog

There they are. I think I can stick to it today. I have great support from all of my "sissers" and I know that no matter whether I follow through or not they are with me in this journey .I also have great support from my DH who is going on this journey himself and together we will make it!!!!!

    I know that when we do something everyday it will become habit. This is the first time that I have started any program on my own that I have stuck to it. You are correct that consistency is so important. I find myself setting my alarm clock at least a half hour earlier just to do my exercises. I try to do at lease 45 minutes every morning and then another 15 or 20 in the evening. I love it I am sticking to my new healthy eating and feeling so much better. I to have started to blog. I don't get to it everyday but at least 3 times a week. It release all that you have inside you. So I know that emoticon and will be great at it because your emoticon.

I missed yesterday but here is my update on Monday. I got my 10 glasses of water in, I stayed under 1300 calories, and I got 43 minutes of exercise in. I also did everything on my to-do list.
Now onto today! I have decided that I am going to focus primarily on my weightloss goals for the most part. I can't make a huge list of other goals right now because I tend to get side tracked.

Weightloss Related:

1. Stay under 1300 calories
2. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
3. Get 20 minutes of exercise

Other Stuff

1. Finish everything on my to-do list

There they are. Keeping it simple for now.
