I don't know what to do ? I have been working out and eatting healthy but only seem to gain weight and not lose it. I have started doing turbo jam again which makes me feel the pain and i hope to see results in the next month. You can check out my food log to help make any suggestion changes. I had a little set back while on vacation and know that I am back I can continue to do the right thing for my body.

ANY SUGGESTIONS would be helpfull. emoticon

The thing that helps me the most is tracking my food and making sure that I'm staying in my calorie range every day. Also pushing the exercise everyday really helps. My body is VERY resistant to losing weight and I struggle a lot with it, but if you keep at it, you will have success!!! I just got the Insanity workout system and I think that if it doesn't kill me in the next 60 days that I might actually lose a signifigant amount of weight with it! I think that the biggest thing you can do though is make sure that you are tracking everything that you eat and drink and force yourself to get in your exercise every week. Good luck!!!!!

Jump start!

So, I need to speed up this weight loss. First off its not working by just eating healthy and exercise. I decided that I will keep my workout the same, which was Walk/jog every other day 3-4 miles and elliptical for 45 min the other days then Add in strength training 3-4 times a wk. Good workout and not really going to do much there.

EATING: only fish and chicken with ezekial bread and brown rice for extra carbs. I have decided to drop the CALORIES to try and get some weight off. I don't know how bad this is but it helps me drop the pounds. Usually once i am down I can maintain. I am NOT eating unhealthy by cutting calories but I am actually eating very healthy. Fruits, veggies, lean meat and no bad carbs. Eating like this actually cuts the calories down naturally so I also add in a protein shake. I still only make 1025-1200 if lucky with high protein and low fat and carbs.

How long can one go like this while not messing up your metabolism? I don't know? But I am going to only try this for a week to see what the results are and to get a jump on my weight loss.

What you think????

Making Changes!

Now that school is done for know, I have 4 months to get in shape before my next semester starts and I am back on 17-20 credit work load; which really never leaves much time for exercise. I have found so many good healthy meals and snacks to eat. Which I will try and keep my protein intake up too a min of 100g a day and my calories at 1200-1300. This should kick my body in gear.

Since the weather in MT finally decided to become warm I will start walking/jogging 3-4 miles every other day and do my exercise card for strength training to build my muscles. With all these changes I hope to lose 8 lbs a month!! Praying! If this works I should be very close to my goal by the end of August 2012.

I will stay on track and lose the weight. There is nothing holding me back, except myself.

Got lost, but I am now found! Again!

So I have not been working on my goals of weight loss for about 6 months now. Bad thing is I am back where I started. I have moved from one state to another and started working on finishing my Bachelor's in Social Work. So far, one semester down and one year left. Due to all this happening I kinda got lost in what other things are important in my life. Example: LOOKING GOOD! So I am back and willing to try this again. Wish me luck !

I did my weigh in this month. 2 lbs down but no inches lost. I was then told that I will be separated from the Army if I don't pass next month. I need to lose 11 lbs or an inch or two off waist to make it. NOT going to happen even if I try my hardest. So any way I figure this isn't a bad thing. It is Honorable discharge and i get all my schooling benefits which is the only reason i joined. The bad part is trying to find a job in the states when you live in Hawaii. I would like something in place before leaving so not to throw my family out to the streets with no house, job or income. That is just not me.

I really need help with deciding where is the better place to live. Montana, Utah, Colorado or somewhere else on the Westcoast that has job potential, good schools for kids and beautiful scenery. But which has all.

I hope for the best and try my hardest to be prepared to leave without to much stress. emoticon
