I had weigh in this morning and lost 4 lbs. I didn't expect that because I did make some bad food choices at dinner Sunday.
My boyfriend comes from a very large family and they get together every Sunday for dinner. (Some of them, not all but there is usually anywhere from 12-18 people there.) They love my cooking and I have become the official Sunday dinner cook. I'm very honored and flattered and love cooking for large crowds but it's hard to cook something everyone will like, although I haven't had that problem yet, they have loved everything so far. I made homemade enchiladas and Spanish rice which I did eat, but this time I limited myself to one small portion and not only was still very satisfied but full too.
Moral of the story is, you don't have to cut out all of the foods you love. The key is learning proper portion control and moderation. I even splurged on a small piece of the Cherry Almond bars I made. They have oatmeal and almonds in them, that means they have to be good for you...right?
I've been fluctuating between 181 and 185 for the last few weeks so I'm not super excited just yet, but a loss is a loss and I'm happy with that.
