I went for a 10 mile group run today. It started off as a chilly but not very cold morning. It was raining some. About a mile into the run it started to snow. It was wet snowflakes so it wasn't sticking. I've never run in the snow. And although technically as a person who grew up in the north I would not call it snow,, just wet snowflakes it was absolutely beautiful. Picture this:
It's raining during your run and suddenly snowflakes start to come down, as you are running your are looking at all the beautiful sights of the neighborhood you are running in. The weather is about 25 degrees. Yes, 25! But it doesn't feel cold out. So imagine then running into this:
Yes the tree is blooming.
Only in the beautiful Carolina's can you see something so amazing. I felt as if I was reading a story out of a good book. What's more amazing is that I did my 10 miles in 1:51:22. My goal was 2 hours.
