I have decided to start doing a daily blog, mainly for me just to be accountable and if I need to vent or whatever can do it here. Despite being sick, today wasn't horrible until about 330 when I found out my first Physics test is next week. So completely not ready and I have a week to prepare for it. This class is really going to take a lot of effort, but I knew that going in and I am going to give it 100% and do the best I can. Thank goodness for tutors!
Next week I am also going to start a schedule to better use my time. I am a procrastinator at heart and so I have to discipline myself to get things done. When I was "scheduling" my workouts for the week I did much better, same with eating. I had a plan and I stuck to it and I made lots of progress. In some ways I am better, but in a lot of ways I am still very scattered about things. I would really like to make 2012 my year for fitness and lifestyle change!
I also am trying counseling this semester with the dean of ministry on campus. Had some major issues last semester with all the change and I am hoping to keep things in better control this semester. Had a really long talk with my sister yesterday which was new for us and something I really enjoyed. We used to be really close but then when she moved off for work, we grew apart. She has really been there for me since losing Jacob, well everyone has and I couldn't be more thankful for my wonderful hubby, family and friends!
A few weeks ago I was cleaning out my desk at home and found some paperwork for a program at work called Peel the Pounds and it was just your basic journal log of food, exercise, daily goals, etc. One section it had that I like is What are you thankful for today? Today I am thankful for my husband.
