saw a wonderful musical today with a group of 5 ladies, song from the era of Clooney, Sinatra, Anka and not sure of all the original artists. My head was bopping and my feet moving some and they had us clapping hands to the rhythm. Went out to dinner afterwards then home and didn't do anything else, lazy day for me and just what my aching knee ordered.

Reminds me of a great movie I just saw not too long ago. Judi Dench in The Last of the Blond Boomshells. It was great and if you haven't seen it, do - you will love it. Netflix has it. Sunny Report Inappropriate Comment

well I made it back home in time to blog after all. Boy was my food off today, the free breakfast was 'Continental' so that meant choosing from orange juice, coffee, water, fruit and pastries (nothing dairy at all, or protein). So I went with orange juice fruit and cherry turnover, then the lunch provided was; BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, potato salad, watermelon, dinner roll and butter, and cookies....not a green veggie in sight and lemonade.
So I walked over 5 miles when I got home and did a SP video and dinner...slim fast time

just a quickie for points
today was quite warm but very windy and kept blowing my hat off on my walk/jog.
our lunch today was a little later than usual since we had to wait for a table, because there were a lot of large groups celebrating graduations, but the food was still good I had veggie fajitas at El Torito, I probably ate more chips and salsa than I should have, but I was starving...that's my story and I'm sticking to it

I'm going to have to skip a day of blogging, because I will be spending a night at my Mom's (no computer). Tomorrow is first Friday of the month ladies who lunch day, and Saturday would normally be an AARP meeting, but instead Mom and I are going to a neighborhood conference (an annual event) that starts at 7:30 in the morning til 2 PM. At least we get a free breakfast, and lunch is only $5. They have wonderful seminars/workshops, lots of booths and raffle drawings for some very nice and even unusual prizes (I won dinner for 4 with the firemen as the cooks one year).
Sunday I will be going to a musical with my red hatters
