Today I ordered Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer (TMT) Program. I cringed at spending the $95.00 but hopefully that will become one of the motivators for using it every day.
I am planning on posting a daily update about my experience with this program and hopefully will be able to watch my own progress. Right now I'm not really sure about posting pictures but will be taking some for my own benefit. Who knows, I may get brave and post them eventually.
I absolutely love food and everything that goes along with it. I love to make grocery lists, grocery shop, cook and most of all eat! Dieting isn't easy for me because I simply enjoy the entire experience of food. I found Sparkpeople before I married my husband and loved using the nutrition tracker. I admit I didn't take complete advantage of all the tools available but made sure that I reduced my daily caloric intake which ultimately led to better food choices. I reached my goal weight in 4 months and fit perfectly into my wedding dress. I have the mindset that this is not a tempory diet but a new way of eating so I'm really not super hard on myself when I eat a high calorie snack or meal. I'm a sucker for anything "cake" and can't deny myself a sweet treat for too long. To be honest, I can't even imagine what life would be like without ever eating sweets. I have become more "food" concious over the past 6-8 months and now try to purchase everything organic. I am working toward a vegetarian diet and absolutely loved having a garden for the first time this summer. I make as much as I can from scratch and learned how to can this year.
I hope I'm able to create a more healthy lifestyle for myself and family and am really looking forward to posting my experience with the TMT program.
