Or a 2 starfish kinda day. Coz thats all I can find in the emotions. Come on spark, give us a gold star!
Ate well. Had a more filling breakfast which held me over longer. Smoothies are quick and delish, but not filling. Wish I could have dairy; yogurt would probably make it stick to my ribs a bit more. Dinner was a bit bad, but I didn't cook it, and kinda have to go with the flow. It was crumbed chicken, which had been panfried, but I left as much of a crumbed bit as I could and tucked into the veggies.
I got my ass off the bed (I hang out in my room a lot) and went for a walk around the block with a few running bursts in there. Took a very hilly route so I walked uphill and jogged the flat and downhill bits. Compromise. It makes the world go round.
So, in short, I got 2 stars!
Tomorrow I am going to Tauranga (about 3 hours away) for a wedding. So, 6 hours in the car. Hope to get some walking done in Tauranga though, as I think that walking is the best way to see a new town. I have only been to Tauranga once, and I was like 9, so it is more or less a new town. I have to research lunch places so that I can find a healthy option. Don't want to be caught off guard! Also need to stop in at the supermarket and get some nice, healthy car snacks!

I went out for dinner with my girlfriend tonight. I prepared. I ate light all day because I knew that I would go a little nuts at dinner. I ended up ordering a half portion (YAY for half portions!) of linguine with calamari in a tomato sauce. The half portion was the perfect size, and I ate every bite. Then the dessert menu came around. We were going to share but couldn't agree on what to have, so I had a whole dessert. I enjoyed, savoured and LEFT SOME BEHIND. I was done, so I didn't force myself to finish the whole thing. YAAAAY. I'd say that gets me a star, no?
So to recap:
B- Smoothie ("Thats not breakfast!", my workmate exclaimed. I reminded him that a cigerette wasn't lunch. Yeah, that shut him up!)
S- Muesli bar
L- Pita with hummus, smoked chicken and feta (this made all my workmates say "yuuuuum, what is that"?!). I toasted it and the feta went all melty.
S - Wonton soup
D - The pasta, and then dessert
I think I did well so I am giving myself a star. No exercise star, I have been out all day :( Will try for a a walk tomorrow!
P.S I gave myself an exercise star yesterday. I walked to my massage (thanks mum!) and then walked the long way home, for a total of 25 minutes walking. Not at pace, but still better than driving the 500m up the road!!

See? OK there are 6 missing, but the boyfriend had the other 3, I swear.
So I had a treat AND still earned my sticker yesteray. Yay for me!
Currenty sipping on a smoothie and trying to decide what exercise I want to do today. I'm thinking a gym session!

I have started a star chart of sorts. For myself. Because I am 4. Clearly.
Every evening if I have met my daily goal of eating well and avioding bad food (apart from occasional treats, of course) I get a star. If I have exercised that day I get another star. They go in my day planner. Its just another (really easy) way of keeping track and rewarding myself. And I love stickers. I became a teacher for the stickers. And to change the world and shape young minds. But mainly for the stickers.
So, there ya go. I have my exercising sticker for the day (a 45 minute walk/run around the block). I am on track to get my eating sticker too, but I put that on before bed :)

Breakfast: Fruit smoothie (Frozen blue, black, straw and cran berries, grapes, tinned peaches, chilled apricot tea, splash of cran juice. Forgot the spinach. Not sweet enough, will add a little apple juice next time)
Breakfast 2: Soy mocha
Lunch: Potato and leek soup with 2 bread rolls (oooooh I loooove me some bread)
Snack: Fruit string, dried apple (yummy, mental note to buy more)
Dinner: Beef snitzel, steamed potato, corn and gravy
Dessert: 2 cupcakes...Should have just had the one.
I was really hungry today, so I am thinking I needed more protein. Will eat more meat tomorrow.
Ipod is charging, new songs are downloading, specifically those from the Greys Musical episode. I am in love with that episode. Anyways, hopefully that will get my butt outside tomorrow. That and the fact that the cyclone is moving away! YAY!
