So far this week I have been sticking to the plan.
Boxing last night was great. I was a little late but just jumped right in. I went really hard and got a few comments about how powerful my punches were and how experienced I seemed. 6 months ago I had never been in a boxing class in my life, so its nice to get compliments!
Spinning tonight. I wasn't really feelin' it but I still put in a lot of effort. I didn't have the resistance as high as usual and I kinda plodded along but I was tired and smelly by the end of it so I still call it a win. Thats the nice thing about spinning, it is entirely your workout! If you need to turn down the resistance then you can, and no one has to know! I like that.
Tomorrow is boxing, then spinning again on Thursday!
I am thinking about starting an exercise streak. Even a 10 minute walk would count! I have noticed that if I take a day off it is soooo hard to get back into it again. Maybe have 5 'workout' days and 2 light days would work? I know rest is important, but I would make it active rest instead of just sitting my ass on the couch all day. Thoughts?
ETA: Just as a side note: I have been eating like I have worms today. Seriously. I snacked through the morning block (Crackers, my antibiotics make me sick to my stomach!), had morning tea, had lunch, afternoon tea, snack before workout, dinner, dessert. Just grazing all day long! I think I am close enough to my calories so I'm not worried, but man I ate a lot of food today!!
