It is 7.30am and I have already been for a 4km walk, stubbed by toe on musical instruments and had a fight with my boyfriend. I'm like the army, more done before 9am then everyone else does all day!
I got up at 6am. Ouch. Especially because I didn't get to sleep until after 11. But, no excuses, I got up and went for a 4km walk. I tried running intervals and I went well and felt fantastic until I got a pain in my upper thigh/butt area. It hurt so I stopped. I was bummed because apart from that running felt fine. I streched the muscle and tried to run again but the same thing happened. It wasn't an unconfortable hurt, it was a serious pain and I didn't want to risk hurting myself. I have a doctors appointment next week, so I'll ask about it then.
I have put my foot down and told the boyfriend that I'm getting running shoes. My $30 shoes are causing me too much pain. I have plasters all over my feet to support my feet. So next pay I'm getting shoes :) Running shoes and new work shoes. I'm very bad about spending money on myself. I always feel like there is a better thing to spend the money on. So this will be very hard for me, spending a large amount of money on myself!

Thus far very successful.
I got up at 9am and went for a 6km/75 minute walk before work. Then worked on my poor tired legs for 3.5 hours, which wasn't a smart idea. But I exercised and I feel good about it.
Tomorrow will be more of the same, except I have to get up at 6! I will aim for 4km tomorrow, which is around a 45 minute walk.
My eating has been good, and I should be within my ranges today.
In other news, I have quinoa. Not very popular here, and very expensive. I only have some because my MIL gave me a bag. I'm going to have some with dinner tonight, see how we go! It seems to be very versatile so I should have some fun experiementing. Kinda high in calories, but they are good calories, right?

Dinner out with some success!
I split my entree with my sister and I only ate half of my main (grilled steak, mash and salad) and had the rest packed up for lunch or dinner today. I also got the sauce (garlic butter) on the side. I spread a little on top and it was plenty. I did have a dessert. I managed to get the boyfriend to have a few bites, but for the most part I ate it and enjoyed. I savoured it, didn't scoff and I enjoyed having dessert because I wasn't stuffed from dinner because I only ate half of everything. The boyfriend was drinking in the bar part of the restaurant we went to, and he got a wee bit drunky. Enter Burger King stop. Out of habit I got a chocolate pie. But I got home and put it in the fridge because I didn't really want it, I just ordered it because I'm used to ordering even if I'm not hungry.
I maintained this week. I'm still at 82.7. I'm a little disapointed that I wasted a week, I could have lost this week if I tried, but at least I didn't gain. That would leave me with more to loose. Also, if we look at it, I've lost 5lb in 4 weeks. Lets be glass half full and look at all the bright sides.
By next Sunday I would like to be at 82kg. This is my goal for the week, to loose .7 of a kg or a pound and a half. And I need to get my evening eating under control! Lets do this people!
