Back from another run.

Another 3.3K in 30 minutes

Day 3, Week 3 ticked off!

Admittedly I skipped right to week 3. My first time out I just did what I could manage and that happened to be roughly what week 3 describes so I went with it. Week 4 starts next run! Because my timetable is hectic and changes all the time I am chaging weeks every 3 runs (unless I don't feel ready, and then I will repeat a week). This is because sometimes I can fit 3 runs into 7 days and sometimes I can fit them in to 10 days. 5K MY way, right?

OK off to shower and then go to work. Ick, I really don't wanna go to work!

Great job on the run. And YES, 5K YOUR way! Whatever keeps you going and gets you there is great in my book!

So ya know that assignment I have been harping on about for weeks? That hard one? The one I hated. I HANDED IT IN TODAY! I kissed it, said a few words and popped it into the drop box. 2 DAYS EARLY. I know! Look at me go!!

So I was jazzed, driving to the gym and suddenly I just slumped. I was exhusted and the thought of doing anything but sitting down made me sad. Assignments are mentally and physically draining! So I came home and decided to have a drink on the couch instead. Life is all about balance!

I'll get to bed early and try to get up early for a run tomorrow. That will equal 3 workouts this week, plus I will do something on Saturday! Sounds good to me.

Eating today was OK. Too much sushi! It is the only healthy option at uni, and I forgot to take lunch so it was my only option. Headed for the non-fried ones!

9am spinning class - I did it

Rolled out of bed 15 minutes before the spin class was due to start. I love living a 5 minute drive from my gym!!

Made it to the class and got spinning. I think I worked pretty hard, although I didn't exactly follow the instructor. That is the great thing about spinning; it is YOUR workout and if you are tired and need to slow down then that is fine!

So, workout done. Breakfast (english muffin with marmite) done. Assignment...Eh...

Blogging while smelly again

I blog while smelly because I can't wait until after I shower to brag about my successes.

3.3K in 30(ish) minutes.

Go me!

Run went as follows:

Warm up walk

2 min run, 2 min walk x5. I threw in a 3 minute run because I thought I could handle it, what with me being awesome and everything. I couldn't, lesson learned, back to 2 minutes. I'll try again next week.

Cool down walk

Apart from my shoelace coming untied 3 times everything went fine and it was fairly uneventful, and dare I say...relaxing? When the other thing I have to do is 2500 word assignment on National Standards a run is relaxing in comparison. I just wish I could bottle this feeling everytime I can't be bothered going for a run.

The best thing about the 5K my way is that I feel like I can tweak as needed. I think I was supposed do 3 min walk/2 min run x4, but I didn't need that much walking, and I added an extra interval to make up the time.

The week ahead

Here are some goals for next week!

- Run twice, gym twice.
- Eat breakfast. Back to basics here, people!
- Finish this damn assignment. It is actually killing me. Only 700 words to go!

Thats it. I think I can manage that!
