So I heard on Oprah (or somewhere nearly as reliable) that sometimes it is good to take a week off from working out, especially if you have been working out consistantly for a while (say, 3 months).
So I took the week off. And I feel wonderful. Sometimes the body just needs to rest! Mine certainly did. I don't feel bad about taking the week off. Not at all. I was tired, busy and sick, and I needed to take a break!
Back to it tomorrow, with a 9am spinning class.
And, as a side note, I have noticed very little change in my body shape and have only gained 300g (and I fluctuate a lot anyways). So one week off will not kill me (or you!) if it is needed.
My eating was bad, but not much bad food was consumed...If that makes sense. I probably ended up eating maintenence calories for the week. No binging, but definatly not enough fruit!
